K'!!!! It's been too long. For one of my favs, decent K info should have come long ago. K is one of the neatest characters. He is the first non-morphed up video game character to stress the thin and gaunt style. 1 of 2 new age characters introduced in KOF 99. Probably designed after the recent style of japanese clothing style (for music bands at least). No, K' isn't in a band.
K's purpose in the KOF is to, strangely, give Benimaru a team to work with. He belongs to a group called the (after 6 months of different versions, here is the decided name) N.E.S.T. Cartel. The current person in charge of gaining power for the N has decided to cheat and use data from other fighters to enhance his own strength. Benimaru is one of the worlds top fighters, but with the mysterious disappearence of Kyo and Goro going about his own, Beni has no team. So the N, host of this years ('99's) KOF tourney supplied him with two members. Since teams are now four, Benimaru has to find another member.
K' was assigned the part. K has to be something special because the N has given him a bodyguard. MAXIMA!!! The N probably wants to see K's power, since he was infused with the flame ability. K' can't control the flames without the assistance of those special gloves (proven in the ending, when he gets so tired, fire just starts oozing out of his arms). The K' in the tourney prospect is supposed to assist the N with their plans.
K' is a clone, a prototype of the current plan specialist of the N, Krizalid ('99 endboss). This explains their similar looks (K' looks more like Orochi though). At least that is what he was told. it turns out, Krizalid is the clone of K'. K' learns this from his sister who turns out to be Whip, Heiderns corruption specialist who isn't into the ideas and acts of the N. It's unknown what K' has decided to do from there.
Oh yeah, since K's power was extracted from Kyo, I guess K' and Kyo have something against each other. Nothing serious, I don't think.
