Lives He's Messed Up The Most.
The Big G. Whooping butt!!! It is Goenitz. He is the guy who can be analyzed through the lives he's ruined or messed up. I will take advantage of that and summarize him this way. Goenitz was the reason that KOF '96 was organized by Kagura. He was threatening to release the Orochi power and fiddle-faddle a bit with the realm known as earth. This couldn't happen, and Chizuru was going to have to find someone to stop the then-thought leader of the eight orochi warriors. Then-thought leader? Ah, you'll find out the real one in another section. Goenitz had been patiently biding his time, slowly working his way toward his goal, and when he was defeated and "killed" so called (yeah right), he was able to just pass on his former work to the other remaining warriors. He was like the link from Orochi, for the leader had not realized his purpose, so that's why one might think of Goenitz as the leader. Anyway, what about people's lives?
Lets start with Iori, Vice, And Mature: I can put these three together because they have a lot to do with each other being that they were a team in '96. Orochi (through Goenitz I believe) had Vice and Mature kind of hang around Iori because of his Orochi-ness. Vice and Mature for some strange reason were ready and willing to fight Goenitz (can't remember the ending, read it somewhere). In which Goenitz presence coused Iori to go into the heathen mode (ROB) and smite the both of them, them being Vice and Mature, thanks a lot Big G. Iori had kind of an awakening and now is suceptable to a quick hop on the Heathen Ride. Iori and two others were the ones who ended up defeating Goenitz and sent him away or something.
Then there's Kyo: Ever notice his big change from '95 to '96. Sure he fights totally different (musta been a BIG surprise to the '95 Kyo players who hopped on '96 and had to get in people's faces) but his attitude was kinda tarnished. In '94 and '95, he seemed more carefree, with less weight on his back. Everything was great for Kyo. Then, before '96, Goenitz comes along and challenges Kyo. Why? Because Kyo held the key to... Goenitz was trying to halt the... Kyo was talking about Goenitz's mama and... Okay, Goenitz was mainly bored and just wanted to have fun. There were more important people in the big Orochi Saga type thing than Kyo, who is in fact the least important. Goenitz just challenged the former champ tooo see what he was like, Krauser vs. Terry style. Kyo's attitude and mentality were both tarnished. Now he also knows about his obligation to the Orochi thing. Goenitz just played racket ball with Kyo's mind and accomplished nothing for himself personally. Kyo had to try to get revenge in '96, but ouwp, ouwp, ouwp... he didn't do it by himself. Can Kyo beat Goenitz now? If only SNK would let us find out rather than always throwing Rugal (the fascist) at us. Actually, for you Kyo fans, Goenitz in story is responsible for Kyo's learning of the Kusanagi No Ken Da.
Did Goenitz have time for idiots, suckers, and fools? Obviously if he toyed around with, gehhh...., Rugal: Yes, Rugal's lack of a right eye and need for machanical enhancements is all due to the wonderful Goenitz (you see why I like him sos much?) Rugal was, like Geese, seeking Orochi power, only Geese has sense when he does it. Rugal went straight for the source, confident because no ONE man had been able ti defeat him (maybe because they are afraid of him because he's looney-rooney and smells like day-old cabbage). Goenitz shattered that theory and whooped him up. Now Goenitz could have just left well enough alone and left Rugal to rot in defeat, but he didn't. He gave Rugal some of the Orochi power. Maybe he was going to use Rugal in his ploy to awaken the Orochi. 'Fraid not. At the peak of it's expendature, the Orochi power ate up the foreign Rugal like cheese cake (and runny stanky cheese cake at that). Like giving blood type B to someone with Blood type O (why do games always tell you the characters blood type anyway). So Goenitz was responsible for the second death of Rugal in '95.
Ahh yes, Goenitz knows his work even back in the day, just all messin with the Kagura's, and that means Chizuru Kagura: Those nice shoes didn't hold Goenitz back because she didn't have them. All of Goenitz dealio's with them took place back in 1986, when Goenitz killed Chizuru's slacker of a sister (I shouldn't say that, it wasn't her fault, but it's fun). Thus, he messed up the whole Kagura synchronage all together. Being that they were always born as twins, now Chizuru didn't have one, and she, the one who was supposed to eat, drink, and lounge, has to takes the rolls of da sister. Now they were twins, and Chizuru's what, 21, 22, 23 right now, so back in '86 she and her twin were about twelve! Dang Goenitz, that's messed up.
Then the worst of all, his crazilizing of Leona: Yes, the eighth Orochi was none other than Leona's father (More in her section). How cool it would be to see all eight Orochi's together, but I see where Leona gets the attitude from. Her father, whom with others of the bloodline allo lived in a little quaint village, wanted his family to grow up sane and normal. Reality check pal (yes pal) your being Orochi is normal to you. So Goenitz went by to pay him a visit. unpersuaded, Leona's dad was firm in his beliefs, and Goenitz, not one to waste time, decided, like Magus decides to turn Glenn into a frog, that there's always time for a little fun. So he sends young Leona into her first heathen rage (ROB). She kills her own family and all the villagers. Dang Big G. That's messed up. Goenitz just walks away with his hand behind his back.
In the end (of '96 that is) Goenitz is slewn by Kyo and Iori together (just kinda bopped Kagura to the side). That's basically all there is to Goenitz, just ruining people. I've never seen him in action so no game tips. If anyone out there has any info on him whatsoever, you can E-Mail me. I can't go into much detail on gameplay either so... Ah yes! Ever notice HOW much evidence points to Goenitz being blood-related to Yamazaki?????
