Well, I mainly did this profile to again let people know that i'm seriously hurtin' for some Fatal Fury character info. I'll try my best though.
Jin Chonrei is a twin born in June of 1981. From what I can tell, he seems to have somewhat of a prestigious backgrounbd. Running around with his running buddy and twin brother, Chonshu, he basically lives a normal life. I assume an upperclass normal life.
He suffers a problem though. Occasionally he and his twin will feel ill and then they will suddenly regain consiousness somewhere together with blood all over them, unsure of what happened. Sound familiar?? Yeah, kinda like the Riot of Blood, but what SNK will do with this, we don't know.
Chonrei was the secret boss of Fatal Fury 3, complete with orchestrated music and the like (thus further supporting the prestigious background assumtion). It is said that all his presences in the Fatal Fury series battles were probably while he was in one of his transces or something. One thing is for sure, this rich little guy and his twin are no joke. They were behind Yamazaki's presence in Fatal Fury 3 from what I've heard, hiring him to locate the "Secret Scrolls" for them. Hmmm, unlike the Riot of Blood, it seems this guy can think while in his trance.
I'm REALLY trying to keep this profile seperate from his brothers, as they usually share profiles (and even music). Mainly, though, his dealings are usually concerning his twin brother, ad they always show up together and fight similar and the like. Where they get their immense fighting strength I don't know...
Perhaps in an attempt to be a tad more on the normal side, Chonrei, along with his brother as usual, signs up for tutelage under no other than Kim Kap Hwan!!! It's REAL cool to see them in Taew Kwon Do outfits and the like, only you can only see this in the Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 endings, meaning that I don't know WHAT exactly has happened since then.
Chonrei seems to be the bolder of the two. He also is the stronger (the classic case of the "Strong one and the Quick one"). But this is only derived from observation, and i've yet to actually play a Fatal Fury game after Fatal Fury Special (they're hard to find around here).
Just for the note, Chonrei and Chonshu have different music in Fatal Fury 3. Shu having Pandora's Box 1 and Rei having Pandora's Box 2. By Real Bout 2, they both share Pandora's Box 3. All three are among my favorite SNK songs.
