It has been runing since April 2000 and is
growing quite well. As a survivor myself, I dedicate a
lot of my time to helping and supporting those
who've been through similar experiences. I like to

through the hard times and all the flooding pain they
have.
I beleive that if I can improve just one person's
life, then I have accomplished something very

I am a 49 year old abuse survivor. I started my
web site for the cause of stopping child abuse
and child abuse prevention. With the poetry I
wrote to help with my healing process, I discovered
that others could benefit from my words. Hence,
my web site was born with a home for my poetry and
ideas for healing and helping with stopping child
abuse. If I can help save the life of at least
one child, then opening myself up emotionally with
my poetry is worth the effort. If can contribute
to helping stop child abuse and helping save the
lives of children, then I know that I have done
the best I can do. I never want any child to feel
what I did while I was growing up and the
feelings I have as a result and subsequent to that.
I would like to become a member of the Sisterhood
because I believe in the Sisterhood and what it
stands for in my life and how that philosophy can
reach so many others. I know I can contribute
and make a difference and would like an opportunity
to do that. I know that to feel like I am part
of a family of caring, loving, sensitive people,
would be wonderful.
I love doing for others and love giving out as
much love as I can give to others. I find the more
love I give away, the more it comes back to me.
Besides there is nothing better than the feeling
I get when I know I have given a real smile to
someone and helped in a life.

teenage daughters. I am a deaf individual, but have
recently had a cochlear implant that has given back
a bit of my hearing. Because of my disability, I
am unable to work, as it isn't just the hearng I
have lost, but my sense of balance and other
health problems that go along with this disease.
However, I am a positive and upbeat individual, not
going to let this get me down. I have a lot of
love and happiness to share. I am looking for
some new friends to talk to and share things with.
I have been abused, both sexually, physically,
and mentally in the past but also am not going to
let that run my life. We all have choices...and by
choosing to be happy in spite of it all is a very
healthy attitude that I try to live. I am so
