The Louisiana Matkings burst on the scene on March 4, 1998. This club started with just four wrestlers and three coaches, and now we have 24+ wrestlers starting at the age of four and up to the age of seventeen. This club's head coach is Ricky Hall. Team Captain Ryan Lockhart, along with kid captain Landon Hall have taken this team to the limits, making them a team that nobody can beat. The Mat Kings have ended the season with 20 state champions two of which are going to Nationals.
