4. Wireless Test Lab Plan. Identification and technical specs for wireless test gears to be procured. -On Hold
   
5. Study and Project Exercise on TETRA Systems. -Working Paper on Current Understanding of Telekom Malaysia's Trunk Radio System. Viability and plans for migration to TETRA systems -Completed Mar 1999.
   
6. Wireless Local Loop Field Trial using Telecell-H FDMA-P System in Jeli, Kelantan.This system is now already in operation serving 200 customers. Field Trial completed in November 1998. Commercial system launched in April 1999.
   
7. Wireless Local Loop Field Trial using the CT2 Plessey/Dassault System in Gombak, Selangor. Completed in June 1999.
   
8. Technical Specifications for the Low Capacity Multi Channel Radio Access System. Completed October 1999.
   
9. Evaluation of Low Capacity Multi Channel Radio Access Systems For Rural Areas For Telekom Malaysia. Completed June 2000.
   
10. Preparation for RFT(Request For Trial) Technical Specifications and Terms and Conditions for Digital Professional Mobile Radio (DPMR) Systems. Completed Mar 2000.
    
11. Evaluation on RFT submissions for DPMR Field Trial . Completed May 2000.
    
12. Field Trial and Technical Evaluation on Nokia's TETRA system. The system was installed with 2 Base Stations in Bkt Besiand Bkt Lanjan. Despatch and Demo Room was installed in Tmn Desa. Field Trial Duration Jul 2000- Mar 2001. Evaluation Report completed Mar 2001.
    
13. Verification Tests and Technical Report on Low Capacity Multi Channel Radio Access System QTEL Pilot Sites at Kanowit and Ulu Bawan, Sarawak. Completed in May 2001.
