Omega Eta Chapter History
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has the goal of promoting Finer Womanhood, Scholarship, Sisterly Love and Community Service. The Omega Eta Chapter is located on the Campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The Omega Eta Undergraduate Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on the campus of the University of Southwestern Louisiana on January 7, 1977. The Omega Eta Chapter was founded by 10 women who aspired to promote the ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. As the Omega Eta Chapter continues through its 25th year on the campus of the Universtiy of Louisiana at Lafayette, it continues to serve as a catalyst for service and charity. The Sorority is sponsored by the Nu Epsilon Zeta Graduate Chapter, and it also serves as the local sister organization to Iota Iota Undergraduate Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
