*~From the Fen's~*
From the Lagoon you enter into a cave that is lit by sunlight and that the sand underfoot, is warm to the touch. Moss ang grass springs up in many random places giving it a colourful blotchy look. You scan the room for signs of life and you notice that no Mini-Dragons have followed you in. You spy a book, on a rocky pillar to your left. Walking towards it and picking it up you look it over. The midnight blue cover seems to glow in the sun as do the stars and moons on the spine of the book. Ingraved in the front, in sillver writing you see the title, *Silvara*. Tracing your hand over the engraving a spark seems to run into your finger and continues right thru you...you open the book...
"I do not know who reads this, or who will understand, but the following is what was, and what is, of our dear Silvara. The one who has blessed us since we first heard of the abandonment, and up to this point and surley forever more. She began as most do, hatched in the fens, breaking out of her shell, and crawling onto the moss that rimmed it. The one who was to take her, never did, and Silvara was left in the fen's. Prairie Lily took care of her, as anyone who saw her would. But this would not do, and all knew it. So word was sent, to all who knew the fen's, about abandon's, and Silvara. Katie heard, and went to the fen's, not knowing what would be in store. But as she walked thru the damp but warm swamps, a voice rung out in her head. :You come why?: The voice was unnerving, and sad. But in a unspoken way, it called to katie, asking her forth. She continued on the narrow path, until a bushes blocked her way. She parted the leaves and stepped thru into what seemed like a nest rimmed with colourful moss. A head then emerged, :You come why?: It questioned again, seemingly upset and frightened. "I mean no harm." Katie replied with a serene calmness. "I am katie, and came to the fens in serch." The teal head ducked, but then came up, the eyes serching katie's face for any sign of mimickry or harshness. But seemingly, found none. :I am Silvara: The voice rang out, clear and proud, dispite the tourture this beauty had been thru. It sat upright and tall, raising it's head in noble grace. :I am Silvara: It repeated. This time with more force. :And you, you are katie of the stars. For this is what i call you, and it is what you shall be known as: It seemed like an unspoken bond, that Silvara had just givin upon katie. For a moment, the two stood, still and thoughtful. Then with a profound grace, Silvara rose into the air, leaving behind her past, and the memories, and flew onto katie's shoulders, looking towards the future. With a turn, katie moved back thru the bush, onto the narrow path, and out of the fen's, leading Silvara, child of the stars, towards her new home. And so it is written, and so it has happened. Silvara is loved and cherished here. And forever she will be, Silvara, child of the stars."
You
close the book, and place it back where you found it. The stars
shining even more brightly than before. You look around to see a
nest, lined with moss, and sparkling prizes..and in the center,
an enchanting, mini-dragon.
~Greetings,
I am Silvara, Child of the Stars. This is my domain, welcome. I
have come to enjoy living once more, and do not fear abandonment
any longer. That story was written by katie, about how she found
me, i always enjoy looking over it. Feel free to stay and look,
if not, return to the lagoon.~
She only
fans out her wings and bows her head, as a sign of recognition.

You stay a little while
longer, listining to the enchanted teal mini.
Finally turning, you walk towards the entrance of the cave, once
again hearing the chirps of the mini-dragon's who dwell there.
Turning once more into the cavern, you look to the starry book,
shining brightly. Then looking towards the star and moon and the
teal mini-dragon. With a final turn, you walk out of the cave,
hoping to come back, and to visit the wonder..that is Silvara.
