"Answer the door Pigs breath!" Lara yelled at me. I growled and she shut up.
"I’ll beat the crap out of you one of these day’s you little fuck!" I hissed. Lara pulled a face and turned away from me. There was pounding at the door. I stomped towards it and yanked it open.
"Hey Bailey." Taylor said, grinning a little. I was a little surprised by his visit. I didn’t know what to say.
"Bay, give me a break, I know I’ve been away for so long and I’ve missed you. So won’t you please talk to me??" Taylor asked. Well, actually more like pleaded.
"Alright. Where do you want to go?" I asked him. I knew that he’d bring this up. It was time we got it all out in the open.
"Is anyone here?" he asked, his bright blue eyes have never looked so depressed.
"Yeah, Gage, Josh & Lara are here, but we can go up to my room if you want." I said, the words came tumbling out before I’d even realised that I had said them. Taylor nodded and came inside. I shut the door and started up to my room.
"Uh, I’ll catch up in a second. I’m supposed to tell Josh something for Ike." He said.
"Okay." I said numbly. Taylor hadn’t been in my room for so long. Would he feel uncomfortable when he sees the posters of him I had put up. When he finally appeared, I was lying down on my bed listening to my All Saints CD, to a song called War Of Nerves.
"Hey. Josh went over to my place & Lara went out with a bunch of friends to the mall." He told me. I rolled over just in time to see his expression when he looked around my room.
"Taylor, what’s happening?" I asked him. Taylor looked into my eyes for a moment and sat down in the inflatable couch on the other side of the room.
"I don’t know, you tell me." Taylor said. I sat up and stared at him closely.
"Well, for starters, we don’t call each other by our nicknames anymore. We don’t kid around and I think our friendship is falling apart." I said. Taylor looked startled.
"No! That’s not true!" he cried. I think he was trying to convince himself that what I was saying wasn’t true, but I could see it failing.
"Taylor! I’m a girl, you’re a boy! You’re talented, I’m not. We’ve never had anything in common and we still don’t! It’s not the same anymore!!" I yelled at him. Taylor was shocked by my reaction, I bet he didn’t see it coming.
"That’s what makes us such good friends and you ARE talented! Just stop trying to pull this all apart! Stop picking on what’s wrong with this relationship! Just stop it!!" Taylor hollered. He slumped in the couch with his hands over his face. He shoulders began to shake and I realised he was crying. Taylor was crying and it was all my fault!
"Taylor come here." I said softly. I moved over on my bed as he plonked down beside me. I’ve never seen him get so upset before. But at that present moment, I didn’t know that I’d soon be joining him in his tears.
