Arritey... ze reedies r a buncha friends o mine (yea, i know, hard 2 believe... lucky D's got friends? but true... amazingly, impossibly, true...) that're unbelievably incredibly smart. sooooo smart, in fact, that they run around w/graphing calculators in 6-8th grade! what makes em reedies? they goto Walter Reed Middle School, that strange place where they film the middle school scenes in 7th Heaven?... its a public school... no, they dont film the stuff when school's actually IN session, so ye wont see any o the reedies on 7th heaven... Reed's got sum incredibly mean PE teachers, and sum incredibly cool music programs... the kiddies gotta wear uniforms, which is technically illegal in a public school... but the reedies that im talkin bout are all a part of this really extremely smart persons only proggie, called IHP. I-Have-Problems, or so they say... really, its 3 big words that sumhow means I'm-Really-Smart. but they dont admit it... ah well. and yer prolly askin yerself, how does sum strange idiot like me who spends altogether WAY to much time online know 'bout ze Reedies? I had the misfortune to get caught up on one of their REALLY REALLY REALLY long email conversations... and now im sorta friends w/lotsa them. trust me, they're scarily smart and u REALLY dont wanna know them. REALLY u dont wanna know them.
well i guess the main idea of this page is 2 give sum credit 2 the reedies... not 2 totally give ye the wrong impression o a buncha 4-eyed short nerds runnin round w/50 pound backpacks full o AP calculus books... but sum of that stuff that yer imagining IS true, so i s'pose i oughta get it all straightened out fer ye.
Ze Typical Reedy
Okay, dont make any assumptions on how the reedies look jest cuz they're smart...
bein a reedy doesnt mean that yer physically challenged or yer a supernerd or
yer poor or yer smart or none'o'that stuff... reedies r actually quite a mixed
bunch. true, a lotta them wear glasses... but not all of them do... the 8th grade
bunch gets 2 take AP Physics, and a whole lotta them take sumtin like Calculus in
8th grade and stuff... that's cuz o their really cool/funky math/science teacher
named Mr. Fitz-Gibbon- the MOST unorganized, strangest, craziest, wackiest teacher
ye'll ever find anywhere. ze Reedies r all smart, but sum o them r tall, sum short
... yer typical selection of ppl. one reedy is actually the fastest runner in Reed
School this year... and the tops in the music/orchestral program. IHP students
actually care bout their grades... i think. they come from anywhere in LA 2 go to
the school... sum of them take a bus from the west-side to hollywood early in the
morning... oh well. this is making less and less sense as i go along. jest read
on and hopefully ye'll understand wut i'm talkin bout...
oh yeah one more thing. dont be disappointed by what the reedies say of themselves, not that im gonna give u their AOL screen names (yeah, aint that pitiful? for all those big brains of theirs they cant even figure out that tiny lil simple fact: AOL SUCKS! but i use the IM anyway.) but at anyrate, most reedies are pretty humble, so they draw all sortsa pictures of "ze typical reedie" and really, its not very flattering.

Phluphi!
Phluphs is one o yer typical messed up hawaiian tourists who
decided 2 stay up in mainland... but she goes back 2 hawaii so often that she
may as well buy a house there. Phluphs wore glasses, but now she's too good fer
glasses (she's also too good for colors; if it weren't for the uniform she'd
wear only black and white)... she's got contacts. She's pretty good bout her grades,
disgustingly thin, and plays violin and piano... taking AP Physics this year (i think)
and Geometry (in 8th grade!). Shes got black hair, is drunk on "asian power"...
one o the most flighty and inconsistent ppl u can find. a good friend of "Emzerz", and all that other stuff. she's one of those popular-clique-type people.
Pkipsy!
Pkipsy and Phluphs have problems over a nickname conflict...
cant really tell ye more than that bout it. Pkipsy's even more disgustingly thin
than Phluphi, has blond hair and gray eyes (i think?). Smart... a really nice
writing style... actually, i oughta elaborate on the writing style. she writes in this funky lil high-handed manner and she uses funky lil windy words.... kinda like poetry only in paragraphs? ye know what i mean? she sings... plays violin... a poet at heart, i assure u. she
keeps complaining about her bangs but they arent that bad... pkipsy's good at
jest bout everything that im not... history, english, blah blah blah. very hyperactive,
a happy person... how can i describe it? a mix of poetry and energy. very unique,
i assure u.
Ze Zyroarian Dragon!
Lil Ms Perfect is the lady whos at the top of the math class, prolly
learnin AP Calc as well as AP Physics, gets straight A's (even in PE!), writes
well...oops. sorry, she taught herself AP Calc over the summer so god only knows what
she does during math... maybe i oughta find sum 300 year old unsolved math
problem that's got math professors stumped and send it to her so she can solve
it tomorrow... blah blah blah. she's 1st violin in the school's advanced
string)orchestra,
but she could've been tops in the advanced band (winds) also... prolly could've
been tops in the adv. choir, too. disgustingly talented in everything she does...
prolly the fastest girl runner in the school (PE isn't co-ed)... long black hair,
glasses, kinda tall... disgustingly modest about how damned perfect she is...
shy-ish, tho not really... the poor soul doesnt have internet access tho... lets
all pray for her abused soul... how could she live w/out internet? okay, maybe not. i'll admit, im getting less and less addicted to the internet... u'd be surprised what a good ISP can do to your luv of online-ish-ness.

Annaki is sum1 i really couldnt think up a name for... so i
jest stole the nickname a girl in PE tagged on her cuz she couldn't remember her
real name. shes short-ish, tho not really... i keep remembering that she used to wear this good-luck charm that wuz this lil dangly eye thingy... twas pretty cool. but she wouldn't take it off and i just thot that wuz plain stupid even tho i wear a lil summat that i never take off but im digressing again (eww vocab word) good friends w/ms perfect... brown

SmallRiver is chinese american, medium height.
she's a good student, but the most noticeable part is she's incredibly artistic. turns
in masterpieces for every even slightly creative assignment.. wonderful at drawing,
incredibly expressive in everything she does... tis scary, actually. she's made models of the Mona Lisa they look REALLY good... disgustig. absolutely disgusting. she sings (i think?)... is generally
