INTRODUCTION
Welcome to our website. Thank you for visiting us and we hope you will
give us a few moments of your time. This page was created for the sole
purpose of reaching out to our brods and sis in the Alpha Phi Omega
International Service Fraternity & Sorority, to our friends and family
and to all visitors of this page. The content of this page are taken from
our club's activities and some part from the Alpha Phi Omega pages in the
web. We will try to make use of the limited space here in bringing out the
best of Alpha Phi Omega particularly in our alumni association, Club 1925.
CLUB BRIEF HISTORY
The club was organized on March 5, 1993 thru the initiatives of two
brothers in the fraternity, Joseph L. Abril (Gamma Omega) and Wilfredo
F. Asilo (Gamma Omega). A meeting was held on that evening at Rythmn Box
Music Lounge near Perez Park here in our city.
And this was attended by fourteen brods and two sis from different chapters. From this meeting the move to continue
strenghtening the association by implementing the proposals to make a
distinct association and working for its accreditation. A
month later the association was formally organized when it held an election
of the first set of officers that will steer the club to its future.
Bro. Joseph L. Abril was elected as its first president and a year later
become its Charter President when finally, the association was officially
accredited as the 51st Alumni Association of Alpha Phi Omega Philippines Inc. , International
Service Fraternity and Sorority during the First National Alumni Congress
held last October 14, 1994 at Ecotech, Lahug Cebu City.Later on the
association was known as Club 1925, an acronym for Circle of Loyal and
United Brothers in APhiO which was given meaning by Bro. Teddy Rivera
the 1995-96 Vice President for Fraternity Affairs of the APhiO National
Council. From thereon the club continues to grow and contribute to its
community their talents and resources guided by our principles of
LEADERSHIP, FRIENDSHIP & SERVICE.
