Amy and Sylvia: The Diva's!
Amy and Sylvia kick some ass! Amy portray's Maureen a "bi-sexual performance artsist". Sylvia portrays Joanne "a lesbian defense lawyer who is fighting for the love of maureen, her virtual opposite". Amy has been in teh first national tour since opening night in Boston. She portrayed Mark's Mom, and a Maureen understudy. Then, after Boston, Carrie Hamilton left, and for St.paul on, Amy took over for Maureen. I honestly thought that the best maureen was idina Menzel, and I had my doubts about seeing Amy, but let me tell you, she blew me away!!!!! Her OTM was SOOOOO funny, i peed my pants! Her voice was strong and her acting phenominal. In LVB she is So crazy I spend my whole time laughing at her! She and Idina definetly tie now! Sylvia has bene Joanne from Opening Night in Boston on. SHe rocks!!!!! She has a great voice, great stage prensense and wonderful acting ability. I love watching her. she is beautiful! She always draws poitive attention to herslef. Luther and herself in tango: Maureen was always hilarious. Together she and amy as great! they are good friends off stage too, so that makes it even better. We all know and love the "slap, slap, grab" thing in TMOLM. It is hilarious. There voices are great together!! Both are sweet after the show too. Especially Sylvia.
