Wicca is a nature religion which is part of modern pagan resurgence or neo-pagan movement. Neo-paganism is a term meaning it is a renewed interest in the old ways. It is a diverse, drawing it's inspirations from many cultures. The word "Pagan" is used to define a positive, nature-based religion, practicing brotherly love and harmony with and respect for all life forms. Paganism does not oppose nor deny any other religion. It is simply a pre-christian faith. Wicca is apart of paganism, made up of various traditions, (see link below on Wiccan types) all holding the same principles of law.
