WHAT racing is all about...
To me, the comraderie of the Nascar family is what
racing is all about. The drivers, owners and crews
are one BIG family. I've seen drivers run to another
driver who has wrecked to assure themselves they are
alright. Drivers consoling each other and giving advice is very common. The recieving line on pit road for Dale
Earnhardt's victory at Daytona in '98 is proof enough that they may
hate losing, but do wish one another well. The memory of that will forever be etched in my mind as one of Nascar's Greatest moments! They are
friends, brothers, fathers and sons....But whatever
the relationship, they are FAMILY.
