MY PATRIOTIC PAGE

MILITARY PRAYER POINT

NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR RETURN OF AMERICA'S MISSING SERVICE MEN

Sign petition on line to bring Captain Michael Scott Speicher home

This page I have made in honor of all our military and our hero's of September 11, 2001. I dedicate these pages to our military veterans of past wars, our military of today who are fighting a very different war against terrorist, our military of the future and those who were the hero's of 9-11. Please say a prayer for all those families who have lost love ones in these wars on terrorism and of those of 9-11. Please also remember the pilot that might now be alive that was shot down in the Gulf War and pray that he is alive and well and will be release and that his personal life will not be emotionally tramatized if he is a POW and is released. I want to especially dedicate this page to the hero's of the Vietnam War who were not treated as the heros they were when arriving back home and to those who lost lives during this another very different war. We still need to pray for these people of whom one was my husband and his two brothers. All three have now passed away. My son-in-law was also there.

I know several of you have family (sons and grandsons, brothers and sisters, husbands, wives) serving in the Armed Forces protecting our freedom. May God bless them and keep them safe til they return to us here on the USA soil.

A Tribute To My Husband and My Brother-in-laws

My husband, Bruce Blake died at the age of 62 yrs old of heart problems and diabetes due to the Viet Nam War. My brother-in-laws, Robert Blake, died at the age of 53 years old and Bryon Blake died at the age of 59 years old of heart problems due to the Viet Nam War also. They and others are the forgotten warriors who are still leaving us, not by dying in the war, but due to complications from the Vietnam War. To them I dedicate this poem. I also keep these candles burning in memory for them. All three brothers had been diagnosed with the same thing wrong due to the spraying of agent orange in the Vietnam War.

PRODIGAL

This earth has been my home so long,
And I have loved it well,
But one day I must leave it,
Just when I cannot tell.
The hour and the minute
I am scheduled to depart,
Was long ago decided,
And is written on God's heart.

This is a great old world and how
I wish that I could stay,
But the years keep going faster,
And the hours slip away.
But as I near the turning
Of the road, I pause to view
The yesterdays I've left behind
Me, as I journey through

One year into another
'Til they form a silver chain,
There are some things I would do over,
Some I would not do again
Though "Old sins cast long shadows",
However long confessed,
With all my heart I do believe
I'll find a place to rest.

Within the arms of Jesus,
Where no heartache and no pain,
Will ever be allowed to touch
This prodigal again.
And throughout all eternity,
My greatest joy will be,
That the Shepherd left His ninety-nine,
...To come in search of me!

This is my friend's Nlemos page in memorial of all our fallen heros's. She has given me permission to put it here on my patriotic page. It is really good so I hope all will read it and sign her guestbook telling her how well you might like it.

This is a very beautiful flash tribute to 9-11-2001. One of my most favorites that came out after the terrorists attack on the World Trade Building. The second one is very beautiful also. It is a tribute to our country. The third one is a song sung by Johnny Cash about our flag. The fourth is for our President and the fifth is a ribbon of remembrance with Lee Greenwood singing God Bless The USA.

In Memory Of The Seven Astronauts Lost On February 1st 2003

*******

SEVEN STARS

Seven stars fell from from the sky,
On a crystal winter day;
Seven lives...Seven souls,
Forever gone away.

They soared across the heavens,
And danced among the stars;
They gazed upon the distant earth,
From a vantage point afar.

*

Seven souls among us,
Following a dream;
To travel into distant space,
To go where few have been.

Another day of mourning,
With many tears to cry;
Whisper now a quiet prayer,
Seven stars fell from the sky.
