Shorecrest High School Key Club International began three years ago, in 1999-2000 as a brand new club. Over these years, we have gain tremendous support from ASB leadership, faculty, and of course, members like you. Every year we continue to grow and develop into a stronger influence in the community. As I look back on the past few years, I can see that Shorecrest Key Club has spread throughout the school as a club dedicated to improving our society.

      Each year, Key Club has sponsored and participated in a variety of events that help us connect with the community. Our mission is to provide members with opportunities to perform service, build character, and develop leadership. With that goal, we emphasize community service - and of course FUN - so we can make our community a better place. From raising money to support a kid in another country to fundraising items to help the homeless, our Key Club members meet new people through service projects and by teaming up with other Key Clubs around the area. Key Club International is a great way to delve into the community and explore. This organization is Shorecrest's way to opening the world to its members.

      Throughout the year, Key Club organizes and supports many volunteering opportunities for the school and its members. Some of our major events include: the Mayors Day of Concern for the Homeless, Sock Drive, running the Shoreline Stadium concession stand, fundraisers for Holt International to sponsor a child, a water bottle drive for Teen Link, and lots more. We also send members to the annual District Convention and International Conventions. These are great experiences to meet new people from around the nation and develop leadership.

      We encourage you and your friends to join us in helping the community. Although it is voluntary, we strive to make Key Club a fun, enjoyable, and hard working organization that allows you to develop skills for the future. Now that you've thought about it...COME JOIN!!
