Final Fantasy VII
- Like all Final Fantasy games, the
plot is quite complicated. Shina Inc. (the bad guys) have found a way to
tap into the world's energy store - Mako energy - and to use the energy to
take over the universe. To do this, they use Mako reactors to
"mine" the energy, like mining for coal. The main character,
Cloud Strife, an ex-SOLDIER of Shinra Inc, joins a resistance group
AVALANCHE who try to stop Shinra from taking the energy.

- There is also another baddie called
Sephiroth who wants to take the energy for himself, so that he could
conquer the universe (mwhahahaha etc.) Sephiroth ends up using the energy
to create a Meteor, which will crash into Earth and destroy it unless the
good guys stop it. He also just happens to have worked beside Cloud for
Shinra Inc.
