About Me!

Hi! My name is Jennie or Jeannie, depending on whether or not I am trying to make a point about my name not being Jennifer.  I'm currently 21 years old. I graduated from high school in 2002 and I graduated from Greenville Technical College with an Associate of Arts degree and a certificate in Web Design.  I now attend USC Upstate and I am working towards my Bachelor's in Communications with the hope of becoming a broadcast journalist. This site has been my baby, which I'm proud of but I need to really get to cracking on updates since it was my first site and I haven't updated in years.

My hobbies include singing, acting, writing poetry and songs, e-mailing, church, talking to my friends and new people, going to concerts, swimming, playing the piano and I really want to learn drums and guitar, and of course listening to music.

I am not an easy person to explain. My world revolves around two things currently....

1. God

2. Music

Music is my world and I love it so much! It is one of the only ways that I communicate. That's how the poems connect into this site.

I am also a fan of all music except Rap. I have issues with it and well, I am sure that there may be some good Rap out there, I haven't really found it.

I tend to work on this site alot, so I'm always updating it.

Now for some of my music tastes.

I listen to anywhere from classical to metal. There's not really much I don't listen to. My favorites are Bride, Monday Morning, Skypark, Petra, Jars of Clay, DC Talk, Audio Adrenaline, Point of Grace, Creed, Pillar, Skillet, Rebecca St. James, and SonicFlood.

I do listen to non-Christian stuff too. I listen to U2, Bon Jovi, the Beatles, the Calling, the Black Crowes, Nickelback, Collective Soul, Lifehouse, The Goo-Goo Dolls ,Led Zeppelin, the Doors, the Bangles, Styx, and alot of classic rock.

My Achievements

I am a published poet in the Poetry.com book of poets in the 2001 edition.

I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa and I am a college grad.
