On one cold November morning, the tempurture was 9 degrees. It was very cold that day! I was hunting my new deer stand that I had built about a month earlier.
I saw a few small bucks, but it wasn't really what I was looking for. The deer moved all day long. Late that evening, after 8 long cold hours in my stand I was so cold and tired. I was ready to give up and call it a day.
Then out of nowhere walked out the biggest eight point buck I had ever seen.
When I got my gun up, I was shaking so bad I could hardly hold it. It took me a few minutes to settle down. But when I got my crosshair on him I knew he was mine!
That was the happiest day of my life. Here is a pcture of my buck. He was well worth the eight hours in the cold stand!
I am so glad to share my story with you and everyone.
