My husband is a deer hunter, so of course we eat Venison (deer).
He even talked me into going hunting with him, and I managed to get myself and 8 point buck!
You can read the story that my husband wrote about my first hunt here.
He even has a picture of me with my first deer on the page.
Now on with how we cook this delicious meat.

Venison Filets

This recipe works best with meat from the back strap of a deer.

4 Venision steaks
worchestershire sauce
4 strips of bacon
toothpicks

Cut steaks 3/4 to 1 inch thick
Wrap in bacon ( just like a filet mignon ) using toothpicks to hold the bacon in place
Douse each steak with 6 shakes of worchestershire sauce
Place all steaks on a plate, cover with aluminum foil
marinate for 4 to 6 hours
When ready grill them on a barbecue just like you would any other steak
Or grill them inside
Cook until your desired doneness is reached ( we perfer well done )
