Equivalent Measurements
What is a pinch of something you may ask.
Well here are a few equivalent measurements for your use.
First of all lets get this straight.
tsp. = teaspoon
Tbsp. = tablespoon
oz. = ounce
lb. = pound
3 tsps. = 1 Tbsp.
4 Tbsps. = 1/4 cup
5 1/3 Tbsps. = 1/3 cup
8 Tbsps. = 1/2 cup
16 Tbsps. = 1 cup
2 Tbsps. (liquid) = 1 oz
1 cup = 8 fluid oz.
2 cups = 1 pint or 16 oz.
4 cups = 1 quart
4 quarts = 1 gallon
1/8 cup = 2 Tbsps.
1/3 cup = 5 Tbsps. + 1 tsp.
2/3 cup = 10 Tbsps. + 2 tsps.
3/4 cup = 12 Tbsps
And finally a pinch is less than 1/8 tsp.
Only as much as can be taken between tip of finger and thumb.
