We discourage this practice! We are here to have fun. Since we loosely cover the recreationist periods from post-Roman and into the Renaissance, and that we are also representative of the 'magical/mythic' realms, we encourage creativity represented in all forms.... from art to dancing, costuming to music. Though we encourage an attempt at period authenticity, we realize that few can really use ALL the materials, cook with only the same ingredients and speak the language of their time period. Each persona is always a learning in progress and we celebrate that work.
