Women Past and Present

Two things prompted this....Seventeen's October 1999 article "Girls....Interrupted", detailing attrocities against women in other countries, and Ken Burns' documentary "Not For Themselves Alone", following the lives of Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. The article gave me a really weird nightmare. I won't bother you with details, suffice to say it got me thinking. When I saw the documentary, it reaklly hit me how lucky I am. And I felt, I owed it to those two women to do something with my life. This website is, in its own humble way, a response to that. It started out strictly devoted to High School Lincoln Douglas Debate, but I am now expanding it to include other areas of knowledge. Yggdrasil is the tree of all life and the three worlds, after all. At any rate, this portion of my website is devoted to Women's History. Below are some links. Hopefully, I will soon be posting information of my own.
