Call me an optimist, but I don't by into the view that people as a whole are stupid, evil animals. I like to believe in the good of mankind. We screw up alot, but that's bound to happen with so many of us around. So, in the spirit of the belief in the inherint good of mankind, this section of my page is devoted to education about the evils that do occur in the world, and what people who visit my site can do about it.
Hunger.
The Hunger Site is absolutely awesome. All you gotta do is go to it, click the button that says donate food, and the business sponsers of the day will donate for you. It costs no money and very little time and it gives food to people who need it.
RelieveHunger Website: It actually links you to a bunch of "free donation" websites. You could spend all day clicking away! Pick your favorite charity!
Environment
Care2.com is a really neat server type website with free e-mail, discussion boards, search engines, all devoted to the good green cause! Plus, its one of the few places on the net I've found with nice people!
I haven't visited The Wilderness Society site yet, but I hear its nice!
