Ryo-ohki is the official mascot of the Tenchi series. For those who don't know, Ryo-Ohki is a cabbit. Half cat, half rabbit (cute creature, cute name). In all of the series, Ryo-ohki can change into a spaceship. A rather pointy one at that. Here are some different forms Ryo-ohki can change into in the different series:
Tenchi Muyo!:
Spaceship, Human-form (adult), Human-form (child)
Tenchi Universe:
Only Spaceship
Tenchi in Tokyo:
Spaceship, big robot
Ryo-ohki also has different owners. In Tenchi Muyo! and Tenchi Universe, Ryo-ohki is owned by Ryoko. In Tenchi in Tokyo, Ryo-ohki is owned by Sasami. In all the series, though, Ryo-ohki seems to be better friends with Sasami. Especially in Magical Girl Pretty Samy. In that series, Ryo-ohki is the Luna to Sasami's Sarena.
Some people think that Ryo-ohki in Tenchi Muyo! is actually a dead cat Tenchi owned. I don't really belive this. I've only seen the edited Toonami version of these episodes, so if it does tell some fact that Ryo-ohki is a dead cat, tell me. But in the Tenchi Muyo! I've seen, there is no fact behind this. I think the cat never appeared again in the series because it wasn't important to the plot. But, as I have said before, this is my opinion.
