Ayeka is the Crown Princess of Jurai. She fits the desciption of a storybook princess, meaning she is delicate. She was raised to be a princess, and someday, the Queen of Jurai. But in each Tenchi series, she decides to go against her families' wishes and lives with Tenchi and the gang. Her little sister is Sasami. Her father (only in Tenchi Muyo!) is Aruza, the Emperor of Jurai. Her mother (only in Tenchi Muyo! as well) is Masaki, one of the two Queens of Jurai. The other is Funaho.
Ayeka is the most uptight, snotty character of the series. She is the only one who can compete with Ryoko's arrogance. Ayeka is also the only one besides Ryoko to love Tenchi. Ryoko and Ayeka are always fighting over Tenchi, literally. Tenchi and the others always try to stop these fights, but they either get punched or run away. Ayeka is usually the loser of these scuffles, unless she uses intelligence, which Ryoko has very little of.
