MY SCOOTERS & A FEW DOGS

When all the other kids were buying Sad Sack and Archie comic books, I was saving my money to buy magazines on motorcycles, Harleys. Don't remember any names, but do recall reading about the Baja 1000, and how well the big Harleys performed.

I bought my first real motorcycle in 1968, it was an early 60's Honda Super 90. I remember the first time I actually shifted gears. Next came an assortment of Suzukis, Hondas, etc. I chopped everyone of these bikes.
I purchased a 1973 Honda CB350, in 1974 to ride back and forth to Fort Campbell, KY. I lived 25 miles from post. I found a picture of it, before I put a peanut tank on it and painted it some color of blue ( the paint was free ). It had a bicycle sissy bar on it. Here it is, with the Army boy on it.

My first Harley was a 1973 Sportster. Chromed from top to bottom, and side to side. Painted Cordova Brown. It won several awards back in the late seventies, but I can't find a picture of it.
