Archived news and information from the world of the new Ginyu Force to you! Read on for all my old updates.

September 15, 2001:  A lot has happened over the past week, and I've considered putting my two cents here, but to be honest, I wouldn't know what to say that hasn't been said many times in many other places. So all I've got is that I don't think the enemy knew what they were doing when they planned these strikes on the U.S. They planned to kill Americans and demolish buildings, to be certain. But I don't believe they realized that a side-effect of that would be to unite the American people as they can only be united by such tragedies. We have been attacked, and as always, we will fight back and win. I have complete confidence in this. We were taken off guard once... But it won't happen again.
And now, today's update-- Chapter 28 of Volume Four, titled "Preparations For Battle." The Been Team has arrived on Earth, and only a few brave souls stand against them!
And also, I've started up the DBZUY 1/2 campaign once again... some familiar old characters are back, in addition to a new one. The adventure begins anew!!

September 9, 2001:  I just keep going! Today I have added another Character Bio! And this is a long one, for it features several characters in one. It is, at long last, the descriptions of the ZUY1/2 Fighters, the heroes of the Dragonball Z RPG campaign that spawned the new Ginyu Force!
Additionally, I have added my Dragonball ZUY1/2 episode guide to the Miscellanea section! This guide goes through the entire RPG campaign I ran last summer, breaking it down into episodes, "movies," and a "TV special." I wrote the guide quite some time back, and some of the things in it may not exactly jibe with things I've said or written on this site since then. But for the most part it's accurate and an interesting read if you want to know how I gamemaster an RPG. Enjoy!

September 8, 2001:  Updates galore on this sunny Saturday afternoon! First off, I've added a whopping two chapters of Volume Four today! Don't ask me why... I guess I just want to super-size this week's order.
I have also added not one, not two, not three or four or five, but six pictures to the Images section! Since there are so many, I won't link to them from here... you can find some at the end of the Volume IV section, and the other two at the end of the Miscellaneous section.
Furthermore, speaking of "miscellanous," I have added a new section entitled Miscellanea to the site! And by the way, "Miscellanea" is a real word. This section currently contains the Anime Cast List, which used to be linked from the main index, as well as something new... a huge timeline detailing every aspect of my little corner of the Dragonball universe to date, including some things I haven't actually written yet, and how they all fit into the "real" DB timeline. Enjoy it!

August 31, 2001:  Figured I'd squeeze in one more chapter of Volume Four while it's still august... Today's installment explains a bit about the Saiyan Settlers that our heroes have encountered. I particularly enjoy the last line, as I wrote it back in April while I was reading some Sherlock Holmes, and a bit of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle apparently rubbed off on me.
There's also another new picture. I could have put it someplace other than the Images section, but that would have been silly.
Anyway, I start school on Tuesday, but I don't plan on that stopping me from bringing you your weekly dose of Ginyu action. Until next time...
ADDENDUM (Later that Day): Guess who just updated twice in one day! You're lookin' at him, pal! I have finally finished the Character Bio page (at least for now), having added the three bios that have been listed as "coming soon" since I started this site back in April. And considering how short they all are, it's a wonder it took me so long.

August 25, 2001:  Once again I missed the usual Thursday update... perhaps Saturday will just have to become my new update day. Anyway, today I have a new chapter of Volume Four, as well as a new picture in the Images section -- I drew and scanned this some time back (while I still had scanner access). It depicts Hozrados and some of his fellow Saiyan settlers. Anyway, that's it for now, so enjoy!

August 18, 2001:  Thursday slipped past me without ringing any bells in my head, so I forgot to update! But now, two days later, the next exciting chapter of Volume Four arrives. Last week our heroes saw the Been Team from a distance. Today, they encounter them face-to-face. And in case you don't recall what the Been Team looks like, check out the Volume Four area of the Images section to refresh your memory. Then prepare for more action than you can handle, as our star-spanning saga really takes off!

August 9, 2001:  It's amazing how fast a week's vacation can go by. Last week's update was made from the calm tranquility of a rental home at scenic Lake Tahoe. This week, I'm back at work updating. Anyway...
Last time, our heroes departed on a quest to find out if any Saiyans were still out in the galaxy somewhere. This week, in chapter 32 of Volume Four, they'll find the answer. Stand by for fun as our story goes on.

Auust 2, 2001:  Because YOU demanded it! Or maybe just because I felt like writing it -- a great new era in the lives of the All-New, All-Different Ginyu Force! New villains! New heroes! Plus the same old gang you've come to know and love! One year has passed since Yamu's defeat and rebirth, and our heroes are about to set out upon a quest that will change their lives forever. You dare not miss chapter one of Volume Four, titled "A Startling Revelation!" Yes, beginning today, I will one more be bringing you a chapter a week of Ginyu excitement... at least until I run out of chapters again or get bored or something. But for now, the magic is back!

July 25, 2001:  One month later... Here I am again, and none of the things I suggested I would do have happened yet. What can I say? I've been busy as can be, between class and work. But class ends tomorrow, and besides that, I was just at the San Diego Comicon, and being so close to so much raw creativity has sparked my desire to write and draw more. With any luck, I can finish Volume Four in the coming week or two.
Alas, I still have no access to a scanner, so I can only continue to post pictures I have already scanned. Today, for your viewing pleasure, I bring you two new Images in the Volume Four section. Enjoy them, because you never know how long it'll be till I add more.
And now, a message from my ego: I just want to brag to anyone who cares that at the Comicon I purchased the out-of-print, hard-to-find Dragonball Z movies 1-6 Soundtrack CD. No bootlegs were ever made of it, so it's quite hard to locate these days. I saw one go for about $50.00 on eBay once... but I got mine for about $30.00.
Until next time!

June 20, 2001:  Yes, I live. Two weeks have passed since the last update, when I promised something two days later. But now, if you go to the Pictures section, you'll find a new Volume Four section, with an image of the villains for that volume, an elite team of Saiyan Warriors called the Been Team. Next week I'll see if I can put up a shot of the Ginyus circa Volume Four, and by the following week I'll hopefully be ready to begin posting Volume Four chapters.

June 12, 2001:  It's been a week and a half since my last update. Am I still around? Of course. I even have more of Volume Four written. But I don't want to start posting it till I've finished it... which should be by the end of this month. Unless my other projects keep me busy. I'll probably put up a Volume Four picture later this week, though as a bit of a "teaser." Good night.

May 31, 2001:  The last day of May heralds the arrival of the last chapter of Volume Three, titled "Coliflur Forgiven!"
I've got a lot on my mind right now. The first five chapters of Volume Four are written, but I don't want to post them till I've finished it. Until then, remember... Victory is Life.

May 24, 2001:  The Angel Saiyan stands revealed, and Yamu faces his greatest foe ever. But will her might, coupled with that of her allies, be enough? The title might give it away, but you'll want to see how it happens, so head over to Volume Three for chapter 29, "Yamu's Last Stand." It sounds like the end, but there's still one chapter left in this volume.
On a personal note, I have finished my semester, and I'm quite happy. Hopefully that happiness will rub off on anyone reading this. Have a nice day!

May 17, 2001:  Last week Yamu transformed into a human-sized golden Oozaru! This week, what can Coliflur and Asparaga do to stop him? In a segment that some will see as rediculous but others will feel is in the true spirit of DBZ, their strategy is revealed! Check Volume Three for the newest chapter, "The Angel Saiyan Emerges." Afterwards you can head over to the "Volume Three" part of my Images page to see just what it is that Coliflur and Asparaga have created!
I wish I still had access to a scanner. I have this nice picture of Asparaga when she was pregnant with Tato that I would have liked to have posted on Mother's Day, but I couldn't since it's not scanned. The world will have to wait to see what maternity Saiyan armor looks like...

May 10, 2001:  The final battle with Yamu gets kicked up a notch as our villain reveals his "true power" in this week's installment of Volume Three. Plus, after you've read this chapter, drop by the "Volume Three" section of the Images page to see a pic from the new installment.
I'm watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine right now, and I can't even begin to describe how thrilled I am! I didn't think any station near us showed the reruns, but a friend told me last weekend to tune into KBHK UPN 44 at 2pm on weekdays. Sure enough, there it was! My life has regained a piece that was missing for the past two years. I am content.

May 3, 2001:  The time has come. The Dragonballs have been gathered. Go to the Volume Three area, where you'll find the newest chapter in the story of the new Ginyu Force: "Porunga Appears." Besides the event the title hints at, you'll also see the beginning of the final battle with Yamu! Last time he killed them... But do Rocket Warrior and Noklok, now joined by Meebor, have what it takes to battle the tyrant now? You'll have to read chapter 26 and find out...
Also... somewhere between yesterday and today, I passed 100 hits. I think there must be something wrong with that counter, since barely anyone knows about this place. But I'll take what I can get.
And now Big O is on, and it's a good one. The one with the frogmen. I swear, I never get tired of this show. Kind of like Gundam Wing. I pick up something new with each viewing.

April 26, 2001:  Here I sit, listening to the amazing Big O soundtrack I recently got, and updating. Yes, I buy the soundtracks to pretty much any anime I see... But Big O is more than just an anime soundtrack... it's an experience unto itself! Alas, no domestic shops had it, so I had to get it straight from Japan, paying a somewhat hefty fee for one disc. But it's well worth it!
Anyway, on with this week's mayhem: If you glide on over toVolume Three, you'll find that chapter 25 has been added to the adventures of the new Ginyu Force! Hmm... that means I need to start cranking out Volume Four pretty fast if I want to keep putting these up on a weekly basis...
Also, in the Images Section, I have added a Volume III sub-category, into which I moved the President of the Galaxy and also added some more characters from Volume III... space captain Tratina Kalara, introduced in the new chapter, and the three Namekkian warriors, Snuh, Lug, and Rod, who have been around since that RPG campaign I always mention... but who appear (or one of whom appears) for the first time in the New Ginyu Stories in Chapter 25 too. Please enjoy what you see.

April 21, 2001:  It's been over a week since Rocket Warrior discovered that mysterious cave on the jungle planet. Now, at long last, find out who lives there by visiting the Volume Three section for Chapter 24 in the adventures of the new Ginyu Force!
I have started writing Volume Four, which will introduce us to a team of new and deadly villains... but as always, school takes precedence over this. I also have several new pieces of art drawn, as well as another fanart, but until I have access to a scanner, they will not be seen here.
That's it for today... tomorrow I'm off to WonderCon, Northern California's largest comic book convention! Last year I got the Gundam Wing Operation S and DBZ Movie 11 soundtrack CDs there... not to mention the first ever appearance of Marvel Comics' Moon Knight for half book price! And in mint condition! I can only wonder what I'll behold this year...

April 13, 2001:  Are you superstitious? Then don't go out today, Friday the 13th. Instead, stay in and visit the Images Section, where I have added a big history chart depicting the evolution of Coliflur from childhood through all the sagas she was in during my DBZ RPG campaigns, and up to the present. There's even a sneak peek at the startling transformation she'll undergo at the end of Volume Three!
Also, check even lower on the page for a picture of the President of the Galaxy, who was unceremoniously assassinated by Yamu in last week's chapter.
Oh, and since I won't be here Sunday... Happy Easter!

April 11, 2001:  Ready for your weekly 60 seconds of reading material? Then look no further than Volume Three, chapter 23! As Slyme, Asparaga, Rocket Warrior, Noklok, and Meebor search for the Key to Yamu's defeat on the jungle planet, Coliflur finds her relationship with her captor taking a startling turn!

April 6, 2001:  At long last, the thrilling continuation of the Yamu Saga! Now available for your reading pleasure is Volume Three, chapter 22! When Coliflur awakens in Yamu's clutches, how will she react? The answer may surprise you...

April 3, 2001:  I have repaired the picture index. That is all for today.

April 2, 2001:  Fanart is here! But the main picture page has gone sort of wonky, and I don't know when I can fix it. I guess this is what happens when someone with just about no HTML skills tries to maintain a website. Anyway, enjoy the delicious fanart. I really like it!

March 31, 2001:  For those of you who have been dying to know what happens next in the stories of the new Ginyu Force, the first chapter of Volume Three of the text manga is now up. Thrill to these new adventures, but take them slowly, as I have no idea when I will be able to write more! I have more plotted, and there is much I want to have happen... but school is a harsh mistress. Nonetheless, I have nine more chapters done, and they will be posted once a week until I run out.
Also, my characters have proven so inspiring that someone has taken to drawing some fanart of them! He has no scanner, so he mailed them to me, and hopefully I will scan them tomorrow for all to see. So get ready for an exciting new take on the new Ginyu Force!
ADDENDUM 4/1/01: I have scanned the pictures, but I don't want to put them up till I confer with the artist on how he would like to be credited. That is all.

March 25, 2001:  I added some new pieces of art to the Pictures section. In addition to more pics of Coliflur (surprise!), you can also see the new Ginyu Force's support staff, and Yamu's right-hand-alien, the sleazy and weasely Rust!

March 22, 2001:  Nothing new, except that I added a little counter on the main page, below the picture of Coliflur. So if you like that sort of thing, go take a look at it. I have all of Volume 3 written, and I will be posting it one chapter a week starting... oh, let's just say... next week.

March 15, 2001:  Everything is new.  I guess I've officially finished putting it all together, so at the moment it's all new.  Take a look at the main page to find links to all the sections of the site.
