Powers: As a clone of Coliflur, Coliflur Mk. II possesses the ability to use her ki for flight and energy blasts. Had Dr. Stool not removed her tail, she would also have the capacity to become an Oozaru. She has knowledge of Coliflur’s signature moves, the Saiyan Blade, Ricochet Ball, and Shatterblast.
Background: Dr. Stool is a Truffle, one of the two races hailing from the world once called Planet Plant. The Truffles were a peaceful race, enjoying a scientifically advanced society… until the day the Saiyans arrived. No one’s sure quite how these savage creatures wound up traveling around in a spaceship… but they did, and one day that ship crash-landed on Planet Plant. Thus began a war for supremacy between the Saiyans and the Truffles. It was a war the Truffles were able to hold their own in, however, thanks to their advanced weaponry. But the Saiyans had a secret weapon—the full moon allowed them to transform into mighty were-monkeys called Oozarus, and wreak havoc across the land. This power, combined with the charismatic leadership of a Saiyan called Vegeta, who united the Saiyan tribes under one banner, eventually led to the Truffles’ downfall. Most of the Truffles were slain when the Saiyans took charge, and only a few escaped. One of those few was a young scientist named Stool.
Stool had lived a relatively quiet life on Plant, as a junior technical development official at a weapons plant… however, he had a secret from his fellows. There were Saiyans among the savage tribes who were more civilized than their friends, and some of these Saiyans found their way into the good graces of a select few Truffles. One such Saiyan, a woman named Jinja, mated with Stool and together they produced a daughter named Shroom. But when the Saiyans seized power, they killed Jinja as punishment for her consorting with the enemy. This, combined with the near-genocide of his race at the Saiyans’ hands, instilled in Stool an all-consuming hatred of the Saiyan race. He tried to find his daughter before he fled Plant, but she had been taken to live amongst the Saiyans and was out of his hands. He could only hope that her memory of her true heritage would live on, and that she would one day find her way to him.
Stool spent the next several years traveling the galaxy, looking for someone—anyone—who might challenge the Saiyans for him. But no one was that crazy or stupid. Along the way, Stool became aware of the Saiyans’ alliance with the villainous Freeza. He waited, watching from a safe distance, to see what would come of this. Eventually, Freeza annihilated the Saiyans, and suddenly Stool found himself with no purpose in life, except to keep the few surviving Truffles under his care alive. For a time he considered taking vengeance on Freeza for the presumed death of his daughter, but realized that would be more suicidal than challenging the Saiyans.
And so the saga of galactic events unfolded around Stool. Freeza was slain, as was his father King Kold. Stool and his crew continued to travel the galaxy aimlessly, until they attracted the attention of one of the many surviving Freeza ships. This ship was in desperate need of fuel, and attempted a pirate raid on Stool’s ship. The intervention of Coliflur of the new Ginyu Force saved Stool, and gave him the inspiration to renew his crusade against the Saiyans. Having realized that there were still Saiyans at large, and having grabbed a DNA sample from Coliflur when she saved him, Stool set about cloning her. He would use a Saiyan’s own DNA as the instrument for his vengeance.
As his clone grew, Stool met up with Alvino and Shi-Nya in the Arganoran star system. Both of these warriors had reason to hate Coliflur as well, and they had enough greed to do pretty much anything else Stool commanded as long as he paid them. Thus was born an unholy alliance. When the clone was finally completed, Stool sent it out with his new allies to ransack the galaxy, making trouble until Coliflur and her new Ginyu Force arrived. But, as Coliflur was busy at the time, they wound up in battle with Kiwi, Koganut, Meebor, and Frihala. This group of stand-ins proved enough to defeat the Coliflur clone and capture Stool, though Alvino and Shi-Nya escaped. Stool stood trial for his crimes, and now serves time in a Galactic Space Government prison. His bitterness is greater than ever before, and directed at more people than ever before as well.
