Powers: Being a Saiyan, Coliflur is a very powerful warrior. She has the ability to increase her power tenfold when she absorbs enough Brute Waves to become an Oozaru. Her signature ki attacks include the Shatterblast (an energy spear that imbeds itself in a foe's stomach then explodes) and the Ricochet Bomb (a ball of energy that is thrown, then bounces off of several surfaces, growing larger with each bounce, until it strikes its foe). She also learned on planet Earth how to sense another's fighting power. Recently, she has added to her repertoire a newly discovered Saiyan form called the Feral Saiyan. In this form, Coliflur’s power is increased 20-fold, but she tends to lose much of her higher reasoning abilities without extreme concentration.

Background: Before Coliflur was born, her parents were sentenced to death on planet Vegeta for treason against the king. Skwash and Kelery, the accused, hid their first daughter, Asparaga, aboard a pod that was to be launched towards a distant planet and be conquered for Freeza. After this, they fled their home world and traveled as far away from it as they could. King Vegeta ordered the criminals found, but his agents had quite a bit of trouble locating them.
In short order, after Asparaga's pod had been sent towards its destination, Freeza annihilated the Saiyan race. A year after their escape from planet Vegeta, Skwash and Kelery proved the old adage that frisky Saiyans will never stop reproducing with the birth of their second daughter, Coliflur. The Saiyan couple, regretting that they had all but abandoned Asparaga, vowed to do right by this daughter. They raised Coliflur in a manner befitting their people--as a warrior. But they prayed that she would never need to use those skills in battle, for if she did, it would mean that Freeza had found her.
Shortly after her eighth birthday, Coliflur witnessed her parents being murdered before her eyes when Freeza's henchmen finally located them. At Freeza's order, Coliflur was allowed to live. Freeza had already found Asparaga, and he felt that both girls were still young enough to be molded in his image. He sent Coliflur to join the rest of his Saiyan warriors--Nappa, Vegeta, Raditz, and Asparaga. At the time, Asparaga did not suspect that she had any living relatives, but Coliflur had been told of her sister by her parents. She recognized Asparaga immediately.
The five Saiyans wreaked havoc in Freeza's name for several years. By the time Coliflur was 15, she had become physically involved with Raditz, and had revealed to Asparaga that they were sisters. Very soon after that, all three Saiyans were ordered to conquer a planet for Freeza. In the process, the two-timing Raditz began cheating on Coliflur with Asparaga. When Coliflur found out, she turned on her former lover and requested a transfer out of the Saiyan unit. By this time, Freeza was beginning to wonder if letting any of the Saiyans live had been a good idea. He humored her while pondering his options. Coliflur was transferred to the Ginyu Special Corps for advanced combat training.
In the Ginyu Team, Coliflur was quickly taken under the wing of Captain Ginyu himself. The man reminded her very much of her late father, and she strived to please him. She also befriended Jeice, who became her ally and confidant. Coliflur remained with the Ginyu Forces for four years, until Jeice secretly informed her that Freeza had decided to kill all five remaining Saiyans immediately. At Jeice's urging, Coliflur deserted the Freeza Gang.
She did not go alone, however; Coliflur had made several friends within Freeza's organization over the years. Four of these friends chose to desert with her. Alvino, Drog, Meebor, and Noklok were all becoming disgruntled with the hard work and meager pay they got from Freeza, so they departed his army with Coliflur. Together the five of them recruited a pilot and became mercenaries. They operated in the far corners of known space, away from Freeza's sphere of influence, and made much better money than they'd ever gained serving their former master.
During an assassination mission on a planet in an unexplored system, Coliflur found herself on a planet with gravity much greater than any she'd ever experienced. Upon leaving this world, she found fighting in this increased gravity had made her more powerful than before. Deciding that training in multiple gravities would increase one's power even more than normal training, Coliflur had a gravity chamber constructed aboard her ship. She began training under multiple gravities in earnest.
One of Coliflur's mercenary pursuits led her to a world at the fringe of Freeza's space, which Freeza was planning to conquer. The world's inhabitants hired Coliflur and her henchmen to protect their home. During the fight, Coliflur found her sister fighting on Freeza's side. In the midst of combat, Coliflur bragged to Asparaga that she'd gotten out just in time, as Freeza would soon be eliminating all the Saiyans. Coliflur bested Asparaga in combat, but let her sister live.
Following this conflict, Coliflur and her team decided to lay low for a time. While traveling among the dregs of Outer Rim society, they learned that Asparaga had finally deserted the Freeza Gang as well, and that Raditz and Nappa had been killed on Earth. Intrigued by this, Coliflur got some more information out of a source she still had in Freeza's organization. She learned that these facts were indeed true, and that Asparaga had gone to a little-known planet called Arganora which was rumored to have some of the legendary Dragon Balls that Freeza and Vegeta were searching for concurrently on planet Namek. Coliflur deduced that her sister planned to resurrect Nappa, for Asparaga had been his mistress.
Coliflur and her team voyaged to Arganora, where they ran afoul of a group of warriors from planet Earth who had pursued Asparaga to Arganora to stop her. These fighters proved to be a small challenge to Coliflur and her henchmen, though Drog was killed in the fight. However, Asparaga managed to resurrect Nappa with the Dragon Balls. In the end, the Earthlings stole Coliflur's ship with Meebor aboard. Coliflur, however, still had a pod on the planet. She took off in it, vowing to return for Alvino and Noklok.
Over a year afterwards, Nappa and Asparaga had escaped planet Arganora with Noklok in tow as their new henchman. Meebor had escaped from the Earthlings and joined these two as well. Coliflur found herself all alone, while her sister and Nappa had a child. Coliflur resolved that since Asparaga and Nappa had taken her henchmen, she would have their child. She kidnapped the baby, Tato, and escaped to Earth with it. There, she located the human fighters whom she had faced on Arganora and pleaded for help from them, lying and saying that the baby was her own. The humans believed her and helped her defend the child from Nappa, Asparaga, and their new benefactor, Freeza's second cousin Frosta.
But once the humans learned that the baby actually belonged to Nappa and Asparaga, they returned it to its parents. The Saiyan family left Earth, promising not to cause any more trouble there. However, due to some unforeseen complications, Noklok was left behind. He once more became Coliflur's loyal henchman.
Coliflur now found herself trapped on Earth, as her space pod had been destroyed when she'd landed there earlier. She took up residence with one of the humans she knew, and while living in his home learned of the upcoming Tenkaichi Budokai tournament. Coliflur entered, as did her human acquaintances and Noklok. During the tournament, Coliflur found herself facing a stranger named Rocket Warrior. He was nothing compared to her, but she sensed great potential in him.
Coliflur was removed from the tournament due to a complication, but remained to watch the rest of it. As a result of this, she found herself whisked off to the planet New Namek with her human friends to stop a dimension-hopping villain from stealing the Namekkian Dragon Balls and making a dastardly wish with them. During this conflict, Coliflur encountered the female Namekkian Slyme, who was incarcerated by the Nameks following the great battle. Even though she returned to Earth, Coliflur kept the powerful Slyme in her thoughts.
After returning to Earth, Coliflur continued to train under intense gravity levels while struggling to decide what to do with her life. Her human friends had shown her that jealousy toward her sister was not the best attitude to live her life around, but she didn't know what else to do. Then one night, she had a very vivid dream in which her parents appeared to her and told her to dedicate her life to righting the wrongs Freeza had committed in his life. This dream so impacted Coliflur that she decided to act upon it.
Over the next year and a half, Coliflur located Noklok, Rocket Warrior, and Slyme, and recruited them into what would become the new Ginyu Force. Once her group was assembled, they voyaged into space to begin their mission. Their first stop was Freeza Planet 79, the world where Vegeta had been healed following his expedition to planet Earth and where Freeza had been rebuilt as a cyborg. The warriors attacked the planet, storming it and disabling all its defenders. They offered the denizens of the planet a choice--join them in their quest or die. Since most of these personnel had no direction in their lives following Freeza's death anyway, they agrees to become the new Ginyu Team's support personnel.
No sooner had the new Ginyus adopted this world as their home base and renamed it Planet Skwash, than did a newcomer arrive. A Saiyan space pod arrive one day, and within it was the purple warrior Kiwi. He had previously served Freeza, and upon learning of the tyrant's death, decided to claim the empire as his own. But instead he found Coliflur waiting for him. He challenged her to a duel, but the Saiyan defeated him. Coliflur invited Kiwi to become the fifth and final member of his team, and he reluctantly accepted. Finally, Coliflur's destiny appeared to be opening up before her, and she liked what she had become.
Little did she realize what lay ahead for her--she soon found herself embroiled in battle with the son of her former lover, Raditz, who called himself Tamoto. During that battle, Coliflur was hurled into space, and later found by a ship carrying Nappa and Asparaga. Aboard the ship, Coliflur convinced Asparaga to consider putting their differences aside some day soon. Shortly thereafter, Asparaga was forced to do just that when the pair of sisters did battle with the "Dark Super Saiyan" called Yamu. Together, they defeated him, and this convinced them that they worked well together as a team. Much to Coliflur's delight, her sister, as well as Nappa, Tato, and Meebor moved to Planet Skwash, where they have lived since, functioning as auxiliaries to aid the Ginyu Force when necessary. For Coliflur's part, she still continues to bring peace to the galaxy whenever possible
