Powers: Asparaga can control her ki enough to be able to hurl bolts of it with precision. Though not as powerful as some of the people she works with, she has a special move she can create after much powering up which she calls the Cremator Blast/Ball. Recently, she followed her sister’s example and discovered the Saiyan form called the Feral Saiyan, which allows her to increase her power 20-fold. Unlike Coliflur, however, Asparaga is able to keep her wits about her in this new form.
Background: Asparaga was born to Saiyans Skwash and Kelery on Planet Vegeta very shortly before the Saiyans were taken over by Freeza. Soon after Asparaga's birth, for reasons unknown, her parents were found guilty of crimes against the state and were to be executed. Somehow, they managed to escape the planet, but not wanting to risk their daughter's life in their getaway, they hid her in a space capsule bound for a distant world called Bransel IV.
Eventually Asparaga reached Bransel IV and when she emerged from her space capsule the order to destroy all lifeforms was implanted in her small head. She went Oozaru thanks to a false moon and wreaked havoc across the planet for four years. When she had finally carried out her task, not knowing what to do, she returned to her space pod and, on automatic pilot, it left the planet with her aboard. The pod made its way back to Planet Vegeta -- but unfortunately, the planet had been destroyed by then. The pod floated in space at the planet's former location for nine years, all this while feeding Asparaga's suspended form the history of the Saiyan race.
Eventually, the pod was found by some space explorers. As soon as she was taken aboard, Asparaga ordered them to take her to inhabited space or die. Her Saiyan branwashing had worked quite well. Eventually she reached a space station, where she learned that the few remaining Saiyans now served Freeza. She booked passage on a ship bound for Freeza space and was eventually found by Freeza's minions. The tyrant sent Asparaga to work with his other Saiyans, Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz. Shortly after meeting the other Saiyans, Asparaga began an affair with the much older Nappa.
Soon after, Coliflur was found by Freeza and also sent to work with the Saiyans. Coliflur realized who Asparaga was immediately but chose not to say anything right away. Meanwhile, Coliflur began an affair of her own -- with Raditz. But while Asparaga and Nappa were "on a break," Raditz cheated on Coliflur with Asparaga. This gained Asparaga her now-revealed sister's undying enmity, and Coliflur left the Saiyan unit. Asparaga, meanwhile, stayed with her fellow Saiyans for several successful campaigns.
Eventually Asparaga was sent to conquer a world on her own. There, she found Coliflur, having completely deserted the Freeza Gang, helping the other side. In the battle Coliflur bragged to her sister that she had learned Freeza would soon be wiping out all the Saiyans and that she had gotten out just in time. Taken aback by this revelation, Asparaga decided to warn the others. But by this time Raditz had been killed on Earth and Vegeta and Nappa were on their way there as well. Asparaga followed, but arrived too late. Nappa had been killed.
While on Earth, Asparaga battled the heroic ZUY1/2 Fighters, who barely managed to defeat her. She left Earth, determined to gain revenge on Vegeta for killing Nappa. But on Freeza Planet 79 she learned that Vegeta and Freeza had both voyaged to Namek in search of Dragon Balls. Asparaga was going to head that way also, until she found out that a tiny planet far from Freeza Space, called Arganora, was rumored to also have Dragon Balls. Rather than risk confrontations with Vegeta and Freeza, Asparaga went to Arganora instead. There, she once more ran afoul of the ZUY1/2 Fighters and her sister, but she still managed to gather the planet's Dragon Balls and resurrect Nappa. With her lover alive again, Asparaga was content.
Asparaga and Nappa left Arganora with Coliflur's former henchmen Noklok and Meebor. Learning that Freeza, Koola, and King Cold had all died, they went to offer to serve Freeza's second cousin Frosta as her personal bodyguards. The Changeling accepted, and Asparaga and Nappa were employed once more. During this time they conceived a child, to whom Asparaga gave birth. The baby boy was named Tato.
However, acting irrationally, Coliflur kidnapped baby Tato and took him to Earth. Asparaga, Nappa, Frosta, Meebor, and Noklok pursued. After yet another confrontation with the ZUY1/2 Fighters, the baby was recovered. The aliens left Earth peacefully and traveled the galaxy, raising Tato.
However, Asparaga was little aware of the multiple challenges that would be heading her way once again... She soon found herself embroiled in her sister's battle against the sinister "Dark Super Saiyan" called Yamu, and was even instrumental in helping to defeat him. After this incident, and following much soul-searching, she finally left Frosta's service, bringing Nappa, Tato, and Meebor with her, and moved onto Planet Skwash to live in peace with Coliflur and her new Ginyu Force.
During the battle with the reborn Captain Ginyu, Asparaga joined forces with her sister once again as the two of them took on Ginyu while he was housed in Coliflur’s body. It was during this conflict that Asparaga attained the Feral Saiyan state, which had only days earlier been revealed by Coliflur. Even though she is now nearly as powerful as some of her fellows, Asparaga still prefers not to fight unless absolutely necessary.
About a year after the defeat of Ginyu, Asparaga found that she was pregnant again, and announced the news to Nappa. The couple was slightly taken aback, and hadn’t planned on any more children at this point in their lives -- but several months later their daughter Honeydew was born, and Asparaga finds herself relishing raising a child once more, under much more agreeable circumstances than those of Tato’s youth.
