Highlands rolled up 507 yards of offense in a 42-14 victory over Franklin-Simpson.  Highlands improves to 15-0 while Franklin-Simpson falls to 13-2.  Highlands recorded 27 first downs and 507 yards of total offense.  The Bluebirds were penalized seven times for 67 yards and lost a fumble.  Franklin Simpson recorded 18 first downs and 279 yards of total offense.  Franklin Simpson was penalized seven times for 38 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Patrick Towles led Highlands’ ground game with 122 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.  Zach Harris carried the ball 10 times for 90 yards and three touchdowns.  Jake True carried the ball nine times for 65 yards and a touchdown.  Patrick Towles completed 12 of 18 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown.  Donovan McCoy caught four passes for 69 yards and a touchdown.  Ian McGurn added three receptions for 56 yards.  Luke Turner caught three passes for 45 yards.  Chad Bowen led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards and recovered a fumble.  Sam Chambers added three solo and nine assisted tackles.  Drake Bruns recorded two solo and eight assisted tackles with 1.5 of  his tackles resulting in losses totaling two yards.  Josh Quillen added four solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling10 yards.

Jerrell Wickware led Franklin-Simpson’s ground game with 127 yards on 16 carries.  Darrius Wickware added 97 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries.  Max Bennett completed six of 10 passes for 74 yards with one interception.  Jerrell Wickware caught three passes for 21 yards.  Chris Davis added two receptions for 40 yards.  Jerrell Wickware led the defense with eight solo and  one assisted tackles.  Kane Ray added six solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards.  Caleb Lockhart recorded four solo and seven assisted tackles.
