North Bullitt (0-0) vs. Lafayette (0-0)

Coach Brett Newton's North Bullitt Eagles finished 8-5 last season and despite graduating some key players are very optimistic about this season.  The Eagles return seven starters on both sides of the ball and will be led by 5-10 190 pound Sr. RB Dalton Cissell, who ran for 1869 yards and 21 touchdowns last season.  The offensive line will be anchored by 6-5 295 pound Zach Perkins.  5-10 175 pound Sr. QB Jordan Mayberry will run the offense this season.

Lafayette finished 8-3 last season and Rob Sayre takes over as head coach this season.  The Generals have a lot of speed returning in multi-talented 5-10 175 pound Jr. Eric Shaw Jr., who can line up at several positions.  5-9 165 pound Jr. Gary Demus and 5-10 155 pound Sr. James Mayes are key contributors at both wide receiver and defensive back.  The Generals have a bruising RB in 5-10 235 pound Sr. RB Darnell Burnside, who recorded 620 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.  Jr. Brett Durbin and So. Matt Britt will battle for the starting QB job.
