Lexington Catholic (3-1) vs. Boyle County (0-4)

Lexington Catholic rallied from a 14-9 halftime deficit to defeat Boyle County 18-14.  Lexington Catholic got off to a quick start as Winston Guy returned the opening kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown.  Boyle County responded with two touchdowns to take a 14-7 lead before the Knights cut the deficit to five, 14-9, on a safety.  Greg Raglin scored on a 14 yard run to allow Lexington Catholic to regain the lead  Boyle County's best opportunity in the second half came on the opening drive of the third quarter  The Rebels, aided by a 56 yard run by Jacob Smith, actually advanced to the 11 yard line before a penalty and a missed field goal attempt stalled the drive.

Lexington Catholic recorded 17 first downs and 318 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized 13 times for 97 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.  Boyle County had 15 first downs and 354 yards of total offense.  The Rebels were penalized eight times for 84 yards and had one pass intercepted. 

Greg Raglin led the Lexington Catholic ground game with 126 yards and a TD on 12 carries.  Shane Israel added 86 yards on 14 carries.  Nic Ward completed nine of 14 passes for 85 yards with one interception.  And. Hutchinson caught four passes for 33 yards.  Winston Guy led the defense with six solo and four assisted tackles.  Cooper McGuire added four solo and four assisted tackles and recorded a safety.  Braden Mann chipped in with two solo and eight assisted tackles.

Jacob Smith led the Boyle County ground game with 101 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.  Cole Stevens carried the ball 16 times for 55 yards.  Smith also completed 12 of 23 passes for 184 yards with one touchdown and one interception.  Jordan Aumiller caught four passes for 115 yards and a TD.  Ron Crutchfield also added four receptions for 41 yards.  Cole Stevens led the Rebel defense with six solo and three assisted tackles.  Ron Crutchfield and Josh Henderson each recorded five solo and three assisted tackles.
