West Jessamine (2-3) vs. Franklin County (4-1) September 30, 2005

West Jessamine's Eli Darby scored on a six yard run to give the Colts a 7-0 lead but it was all Franklin County after that as the Flyers reeled off 47 unanswered points to take a 53-13 victory.  Jr. Kaelin Ammons continued his assault on the record books as he has now topped 5,000 yards in passing for his career.

Franklin County held a 485-284 advantage in total offense and enjoyed a 20-13 edge in first downs.  Franklin County lost two fumbles and was penalized nine times for 85 yards.  West Jessamine lost four fumbles, had a pass intercepted, and was flagged seven times for 47 yards.

Kaelin Ammons led the Franklin County ground attack with 117 yards and a TD on 13 carries.  Jeffrey Wheat carried the ball 10 times for 57 yards and one touchdown.  Ammons completed 16 of 21 passes for 276 yards with three scores.  Andrew Wise caught five passes for 47 yards.  Shane McDonald had four receptions for 143 yards with a score while Colton Riggs added four receptions for 71 yards with two touchdowns.  Chris Hogan led the Flyers defense with six solo and one assisted tackles while Matt Stiles added five solo tackles.  Ammons also contributed four solo and one assisted tackles scoring on a 41 yard fumble recovery.

Eric Coker led the West Jessamine ground game with 136 yards on 21 carries.  Coker completed three of six passes for 87 yards.  Chase Mullins had one receotion for 57 yards.  Gulian Blanton led the West Jessamine defense with seven solo and three assisted tackles.  Brian Johnson added four solo and two assisted tackles.
