Jeffersontown (1-0) vs. Lafayette (0-1) August 26, 2005

Coach Scott Carmony's Jeffersontown Chargers opened their season with a 14-13 overtime victory over Montgomery County.  The Jeffersontown offense was led by 5-6 140 pound Sr. RB Rayshawn Walker with 91 yards on 21 carries.  The Chargers will be without the services of talented RB/DB 6-1 185 pound Sr. Ceedrick Ware due to an injury.  Although Jeffersontown has athleticism in some positions, less than 40 players were in camp during preseason and several underclassmen will have to play.
