South Oldham (4-6) vs. Lexington Catholic (9-1) November 5, 2004

Lexington Catholic raced out to a 35-0 lead at the half on their way to a 56-0 victory over South Oldham.  The Knights held a 398-140 edge in total offense.  The Lexington Catholic offense was extremely balanced tonight as they gained 209 yards on the ground and 189 yards through the air.  South Oldham lost two fumbles and had two passes intercepted while Lexington Catholic lost two fumbles. 

Lexington Catholic QB Justin Burke completed 12 of 16 passes for 186 yards and four touchdowns.  Kevin Vogelsang caught four passes for 38 yards.  Tyler Hinkel added three receptions for 63 yards with two touchdowns.  David Vicini added three receptions for 52 yards with one touchdown.  Ty Stephenson led the ground attack with 52 yards on seven carries.  Shane Israel carried the ball five times for 47 yards including a 17 yard TD run.  Brandon Logan led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles, while Matt Walton added three solo and four assisted tackles. 

Bennett Gatto led the South Oldham ground game with 82 yards on 16 carries.  ould never get closer than three touchdowns.  QB Caleb Newton completed five of 15 passes for 28 yards and was intercepted twice.  Gatto also led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles.  Aaron Embry added four solo and three assisted tackles.
