Class A Playoffs

Beechwood  62    Lexington Christian Academy 14   
Beechwood exploded for 35 points in the second quarter to take control of the game.  Dustin Menetrey had a productive evening on the ground as he scored on runs of 11, 18, 14, 4, 33, and 15 yards. 
 
Danville 20    Bardstown 6  
The Admirals pulled away from a 6-6 tie at the end of the third quarter as Kelvin Turner scored on TD runs of 55 and 65 yards.  Turner topped the 200 yard mark as he gained 233 yards on 25 rushing attempts. 
 
Williamsburg 15    Lynn Camp 12  
Williamsburg improved their record to 12-0 and advance to the next round. 
 
Pikeville 28    Harlan 14  
Robert Shurtleff scored three TDs (two on the ground and a 39 yard pass reception) to lead Pikeville to victory.

Class 2A Playoffs

Prestonsburg 40    Breathitt County 29  
Prestonsburg capitalized on seven Breathitt County turnovers (four fumbles and three interceptions) to hand the Bobcats their first loss of the season.  Prestonsburg was led on the ground by Joe Blackburn, who carrier the ball 30 times for 182 yards including TD runs of 86 and 13 yards. 
 
Russell 50    Morgan County19   
Russell outscored Morgan County 28-0 in the third quarter to break open a close game. 
 
Belfry 49    Middlesboro  7   
Doug Howard scored three TDs to lead Belfry to victory.

Class 3A Playoffs

Covington Catholic 37    Lexington Catholic 21

Boyle County 55    Waggener 10
Boyle County held a 417-93 yard edge in total offense.  QB Brandon Smith hooked up with Seth Tamme on scoring strikes of 50, 57, and 2 yards.
 
Highlands 48    East Jessamine 21
Jordan Kramer scored on TD runs of 9, 17, and 57 yards to lead the Bluebirds to victory. 
 
Ashland Blazer 34    Rockcastle County  27  (2OT)
Ashland overcame a 20-0 deficit in the third quarter to nip Rockcastle County in overtime.

Class 4A Playoffs

Dixie Heights 14    Trinity  10
Trinity led 10-7 entering the final period but Greg Preston scored on a seven yard run to give Dixie Heights the victory. 
 
Scott County 45    Henry Clay 42

Madison Central 28    Tates Creek 25  
Madison Central unilized their big play capabilities to edge Tates Creek.  For a complete write-up of this game, click [here]
 
Henderson County 55    Daviess County 21
Henderson County led 26-21 at the half but outscored Daviess County 29-0 in the second half to ensure the victory.  QB Will Fidler connected on 18 of 25 passes for 287 yards including TD strikes of 48, 33, 58, and 26 yards. 
 
Boone County 38    Conner  6
Boone County's opportunistic defense scored on three interception returns to hand Conner their first loss of the year.
