KEEP YOUR FOCUS

It is time to get our eyes off our problems and off the storms that surround us. I know they are real. Yes, the earth is shaking and the heavens are moved, but Jesus said when these things begin to happen, we are to look up, because our redemption is drawing near. I believe that Jesus was saying, "Don't lose your focus." (Matt. 14:30) "But when he (Peter) saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and, beginning to sink, he cried, '"Lord, save me."' It was when Peter got his eyes off Jesus, that he began to sink. He lost his focus.
*Many today have lost their focus - and because of this they have paid with the loss of peace, joy and hope. But wait! There's good news! Peter prayed and called on Jesus. Verse 31 tells us that upon that prayer, Jesus stretched forth His hand and pulled him up out of the deep waters of the storm. Today, I urge you to call on, look to, and re-focus on Jesus. He will not fail you. My prayer for you in this new year and as we move into the 21st century, is that you keep your focus upon Jesus - for He is not a failure and will not fail you. He will make a way when there seems to be no way out. Look! Look, I say. Look to Him for He truly cares for you!!
