So, this is my new place! A little rough when we viewed it, but as I stood in the middle of the 4 acres, I could hear birds chirping, I could even hear the bugs. It was so peaceful, the views were breathtaking, birds abounded and I knew this was where I wanted to be. In spring of 2006 I got to work and started creating gardens, planting native shrubs and trees, lots of perennials and a native bed full of prairie wildflowers, most started by seeds. I amazed myself at what all I accomplished the first year. I've had birds I've always dreamed of having here and the wildlife abounds.

2008 In 3rd pic look what I've done! Expanded one side of deck all the way to the driveway. I can't believe how it's grown in one season.
