On Friday, April 7, 2000, some members of the Johnson County Mailing List met in Paintsville, KY for a weekend of genealogy, tours of the area and fellowship. Although our group was small and the weather less than perfect, we had a wonderful weekend! On Saturday, April 8, we toured Butcher Holler, Mountain Homeplace and went to the grave of Jenny Wiley. Sunday, April 9, we parted ways and headed home. I am already looking forward to our get together next year. The following pages contain pictures of our trip. Hope you enjoy them!
