"Oh, I am so glad school is finally over!" Michelle sighed as she sat down on a couch next to Nick. Michelle and Nick had become very close friends, considering that their best friends were going out with each other's best friends (you get it). "Haha. Well it's comforting to know that you are happy to be out of school but not happy to be with us!" Nick laughed. Michelle playfully hit his arm. "Nick you know that is NOT what I meant!" Michelle said. "Oh, I know how happy you are to be able to be around your little Bri-ee boo, aren't you?" Nick said, lughing hysterically. Michelle knew how to get to him. She tickled him as best she could until they were both laughing so hard they were crying. "Well, looks like SOMEONE'S having fun," a voice said from the doorway. Michelle turned around, her arms still by Nick's sides from where she was tickling him. "Brian! Hi," Michelle said, ceasing her laughs. Brian just stared at her. "Brian, it's not what you think," Nick started, standing up. "Oh really? What is it, Nick? I walk onto the bus and see my girlfriend with her arms wrapped around my best friend, practically laying on top pf him!" Brian was yelling by now. Kevin, AJ, Katie and Lorie emerged from the bunk area. "What's going on in here?" Kevin asked. "Oh nothing, except for my best friend and my girlfriend were practically making out on our couch!" Brian yelled. "Brian Thomas Littrell, we were not making out! I have never even KISSED Nick!" Michelle said. She was yelling this time. "And for your imformation, Nick was making fun of me for being so happy that I was here WITH YOU!" Nrian looked at the floor. Michelle let one tear fall, then decided to leave. She stormed out of the bus and walked around the rest stop for a few minutes. "Michelle! Michelle, please, baby, I'm sorry," Brian said, catching up to her. Michelle kept walking. "Michelle!" he said, grabbing her hand. She turned around glaring at him. "Brian, how could you ever think I would cheat on you! And with Nick!" Michelle said. "I'm sorry! I didn't know what to do when I walked in there and saw you two laughing and getting so close like that/ You two have been spending an awful lot of time together lately. I'm afraid I'm going to lose you," he explained, looking at the floor as if ashamed of something. "Oh, baby, I'm sorry, too. You aren't losing me, and you never will," Michelle said, taking his face in her hand, looking into his eyes. She smiled, which made him smile. ______________________________________________________________________________ "Nick, what happened?" Lorie asked, afraid of the answer. Did he really cheat on her?" "Nothing, Lorie! I promise. She was tickling me, that's all," he answered. "Lorie, I heard them laughing. They weren't doing anything wrong," Katie reassured her friend. Lorie accepted the story and returned to her bunk where she had been writing in her journal. _______________________________________________________________________________ "Well, I guess we got over our first "disaster," huh?" Brian asked Michelle, who was laying in his bunk with him later that night. They were on their way to Raleigh, North Carolina for the first show of the tour. "Yeah, we did. Brian, you know I love you and I would never do anything to hurt you right?" Michelle asked, looking up at him. He smiled. "Yeah, I know. I wouldn't do anything to hurt you, either. Ever," he answered.
