“What?” Theresa asked in shock grabbing the paper from her friend and noticing a picture of Kevin and Kristen, then a picture of Stephanie on stage singing. “We are so getting this.”
“Why?” Lisa wondered snatching the paper from Theresa reading the trash.
“Cause. I wanna see what it has to say.” Theresa smirked.
“You know it ain’t nothing but bullshit.” Lisa chuckled.
“I know, but hey…that damn bus is boring…gotta have something to read.” Theresa smiled.
“Whatever.” Stephanie rolled her eyes wondering if the tabloid was true.
-At the same time-
“Listen…” Abby trailed off shifting uncomfortably in the chair across from the bed that A.J was resting in, “about the other night…”
“Hey, it was a mistake…right?” A.J cut in looking up at her, her legs were tucked to her chest and her hair was in her face. “Don’t feel bad, none of this is your fault.”
“Well if it wasn’t, I still feel bad about doing that to Theresa.” Abby sniffed as tears formed in her eyes. “I’m such a slut.”
“No you’re not!” A.J hissed standing from the bed and walking towards her. Placing his hand under her chin, he lifted her face up to meet his while his other removed the hair from her face. “You’re not a slut.” He whispered his brown eyes transfixed on her full bottom lip. Leaning forward slowly he placed his lips against hers as his lust began to build up.
-Meanwhile-
Picking up his cell phone, which rested on the nightstand, Kevin looked at the caller id before pushed the talk button smiling. “Hey there sexy.”
“Hi Kev.” Stephanie’s voice filled the other line. “How’s the tour going?”
“Good, it’s going good.” Kevin nodded rolling onto his back he stared up at the ceiling, thinking about what his loving girlfriend was wearing. “What are you wearing?” He blurted out before even realizing he said it.
“What!?” Stephanie giggled.
“Sorry, I just miss you.”
“It’s ok…I miss you too baby.” Stephanie whispered. “Where are y’all going to be tomorrow?”
“Um…hold on lemme think…” Kevin trailed off closing his eyes, “oh yeah were going to be in Los Angeles. You?”
“Oh my God!” Stephanie nearly yelled catching Kevin off guard.
“What is it baby?” Kevin questioned.
“Were going to be in L.A too.”
“Are you joking?” Kevin wondered a smile tugging at his lips.
“Nope. Were going to be there for a Teen People interview.”
“Hmm…well I guess were going to have to meet up somewhere.” Kevin chuckled his voice deep. “Hey you never answered my question, what are you wearing?”
-With Lisa-
“This is serious Nick.” Lisa nearly yelled into the phone.
“Calm down baby. Listen, when I see you tomorrow we’ll go get you a test and you’ll take it ok?” Nick sighed.
“Ok.” She whispered calming down slightly. “What if I am?”
“Then…I don’t know…we’ll figure something out.” Nick stated.
“If I am, I’m going to get an abortion. The girls and me are to far in our careers. I don’t want to ruin it.” Lisa cried pacing in her hotel room.
“It’s your decision.” He whispered.
“We can’t get attached.”
“I understand.” Nick replied.
“Let’s change the subject. Have you talked to Abby?” Lisa asked folding her clothes into her suitcase.
“Yeah but its like one word conversations.” Nick answered. “She’s been hanging with A.J most of the time.
“Really? Figures.” Lisa rolled her eyes. What would Theresa do if she found out. “Well it’s almost 5pm. I’ve gotta head for sound check.”
“Okay baby. Love you.”
“Love ya too.” Lisa kissed into the phone then hung up grabbing her purse before leaving her room, a hand resting lightly on her stomach. ‘What if I am pregnant?’ She thought as she walked down the hall.
-Later that night on stage-
“Hey out there!” Lisa hollered as the three girls entered the stage again after a minute of costume changes.
“We are going to slow things down a bit.” Theresa stated smoothing out her white, one strapped gown.
“And we want to sing a song that was done by Michael Jackson.” Stephanie informed brushing her black hair off of her shoulders. She was clad in a shimmery, white, sleeveless gown that hung tightly to her curves. And Lisa was wearing a silky white, knee length gown that’s straps connected behind her neck. The girls were just met by screams in reply to their statements.
As the music started Stephanie raised the microphone to her lips and smiled before she began to sing, “Another day has gone, I'm still all alone, How could this be, You're not here with me, You never said goodbye, Someone tell me why, Did you have to go, And leave my world so cold, Everyday I sit and ask myself, How did love slip away, Something whispers in my ear and says.”
“That you are not alone, For I am here with you, Though you're far away, I am here to stay, You are not alone, I am here with you, Though we're far apart, You're always in my heart, You are not alone, All alone, Why, oh.” They coursed together walking to different parts of the stage.
“Just the other night, I thought I heard you cry, Asking me to come, And hold you in my arms, I can hear your prayers, Your burdens I will bear, But first I need your hand, So forever can begin, Everyday I sit and ask myself, How did love slip away, Then something whispers in my ear and says.” Theresa sang waving to the fans that waved at her.
“That you are not alone, For I am here with you, Though you're far away, I am here to stay, For you are not alone, I am here with you, Though we're far apart, You're always in my heart, And you are not alone.” They sang in sync.
“Whisper three words and I'll come runnin', And boy you know that I'll be there, I'll be there.” Lisa sang powerfully causing it to slightly echo in the arena.
“You are not alone, I am here with you, Though you're far away, I am here to stay, You are not alone, I am here with you, Though we're far apart, You're always in my heart, You are not alone, For I am here with you, Though you're far away, I am here to stay. For you are not alone, For I am here with you, Though we're far apart, You're always in my heart, For you are not alone…” They sang quietly together as the three walked closer to each other and bowing in the middle of the stage.
“Thank you! You’ve been a great audience.” Stephanie smiled blowing them kisses as the girls hurried off the stage.
-After-
“Hey Theresa.” Justin waved as she exited the girl’s dressing room.
“Hey Justin.” Theresa smiled. “Did y’all just get done?”
“Yeah. I feel better after taking a shower.” He chuckled wrapping an arm around her shoulders while they started down the hall. “Where you headed?”
“To bed.” She giggled. “After I call A.J…”
“What’s wrong?” He cut her off noticing her downed look.
“It seems like he’s avoiding me.” She sighed looking down at her hands. “Every time I call, he’s always like, I’m kinda of busy or can I call you right back. I don’t get it.”
“Maybe he is busy.” Justin suggested.
“I don’t know…” She trailed off, “he doesn’t know that were coming to L.A tomorrow, so I’m gonna surprise him.”
“You should. That would be good for the both of you.” Justin joked dancing his eyebrows at her.
“JUSTIN! I can’t believe you just said that.” Theresa hissed laughing gently punching him in his arm while entering the elevator that took them to the floor that they were staying on.
“Hey, I was joking.” He chuckled. “I’m glad the hotels connected to the arena. We don’t have to worry about being chased by the fans on the bus.”
“Yeah. Hey can I chill with you for a while, I’ve gotta ask ya something. ” Justin just nodded. As soon as they got inside Theresa asked, “What’s it like?”
“What’s what like?” Justin wondered sitting up on his elbows after he laid out on his bed.
“Sex.”
“Why do you want to know?”
“Just wondering.” Theresa said calmly looking down at her French tip-styled nails.
“Are you considering doing it?” Justin questioned as she sat next to him.
“Maybe.” She shrugged.
-Meanwhile-
Staring out the large window, Stephanie sighed into the phone. “Yeah dad, I miss you too.”
“Are you being careful? How’s Theresa and Lisa?” Steve asked politely.
“Yes were being very careful. Trease and Lease are doing well. How’s grandmama?” Stephanie questioned.
“She’s good. Lisa said hi.”
“Tell her I said hey.” Stephanie mumbled. ‘I miss home.’ She thought. “Well dad, I’m gonna get off here, its getting late.”
“Okay honey. Love you.”
“Love you too.” With that she hung up and exhaled. Life on the road was tough, now she understood why the guys hated it so much at times.
-With Justin and Theresa-
“Hmm…ok…um…” He stuttered standing from the bed. “It’s enjoyable.”
“Duh.” She smirked. “I mean, what does it feel like?”
“It feels good. Intercourse, oral, four-play, it’s all great.” Justin chuckled at his understudied friend.
“I want to do it with Alex so bad, but I’m just scared that I might be giving in to the wrong person.” Theresa whispered.
“Oh Theresa. I can’t tell you what to do all I can say is to do what your heart tells you.” Justin informed.
“So you’re saying to just follow my heart.”
“Yeah.” Justin confirmed.
