“Yeah, I think I’d like that.” Theresa smiled turning and sitting on his lap while kissing his cheek sweetly.
“You mean, you really want…”
“Yes.” Theresa cut him off standing up off his lap and walking down the hall to get her things.
-The next day-
“Theresa…” Stephanie trailed off shaking her friend lightly. Theresa didn’t even stir she just kept sleeping. “THERESA!” She finally screamed causing Theresa to jump straight up.
“What!!??” Theresa panted looking over at Stephanie. “Damn! Don’t do that!” She cursed tossing her pillow at Stephanie then fell back against her hotel bed.
“Sorry, I had to come in here to wake you up. Donna and Johnny have a meeting with us in thirty minutes so I’d suggested you get up and take a shower.” Stephanie stated sitting down next to her.
“A meeting?” Theresa asked sighing as she looked up at Stephanie. Stephanie just nodded and Theresa whined, “Damn, didn’t me and A.J get bitch out enough already??”
“What did Donna call you guys on the bus yesterday?” Stephanie questioned as Theresa climbed out of the bed.
“Yeah. And it wasn’t nice.” Theresa chuckled lightly retrieving a pair of blue jean flares, and a black long sleeved, tight shirt.
“Well Brian got yelled at to yesterday, when Donna called to try and find A.J.” Stephanie smirked rolling her eyes.
“Really? She was mad I could tell ya that.” Theresa said walking into the bathroom sitting her folded clothes on the toilet seat. “OH MY GOD STEPH, I ALMOST FORGOT!” Theresa screamed running out of the bathroom then jumping on the bed startling Stephanie.
“What?” Stephanie asked clutching her chest.
“A.J and me are going out!!” She yelled jumping off the bed and standing in front of Stephanie.
“Are you serious?” Stephanie questioned looked at her blue eyed friend.
“Yes.” Theresa replied nodding.
“Bout time, maybe you guys can relieve some of that ‘sexual tension’.” Stephanie giggled walking towards the door. “See ya in thirty minutes.” With that she left with a smile on her lips as she shut the door behind her.
-In the conference room-
Theresa entered the slightly empty room that was only occupied by Stephanie, Kevin, Howie, Brian, Lisa, Nick, and A.J.
“Bout time you get down here.” Stephanie waved from her seat.
“You better hush up Stephanie.” Theresa rolled her eyes sitting down next to A.J.
“Hey babe.” A.J smiled kissing her cheek lightly.
“Hey.” Theresa smiled at him as the rest of the guys looked at them. “Were going out now.” Theresa blurted out taking A.J’s hand in hers.
“About damn time.” Brian spoke up crossing his arms on the table.
“That’s what I’m saying.” Nick chuckled.
“Shut up…” Theresa was cut off by Donna’s voice as she entered the room.
“I am so disappointed in you guys!” She yelled as she entered the conference room, her arms full of newspapers, and Johnny be hind her.
“We are so sorry Donna.” Theresa apologized.
“Theresa please be quiet, I have a lot of talking to do, and very little time to do it in.” Donna declared as she took three newspapers out of her arms and slammed them down in front of Theresa and A.J. Theresa and A.J both looked down at the newspapers in front of them. On the front cover of one, there was a picture of the two kissing passionately onstage. Theresa clasped a hand over her hand as she read the head title:
‘Did one Backstreeter find a new love?? But what happened to the old one??’
Yesterday night, Rupp Arena was filled pack with Backstreet Boys fans waiting to see their favorite group in action. Also awaiting a special performance only Lexington, KY would be able to witness. Early on the tour, Donna Wright, eNVY and the Backstreet Boys manager had scheduled for the three young ladies to sing a duet with three lucky Backstreet Boys. Stephanie Lindsey, 22, was teamed up to do a duet with hometown boy Kevin Richardson, 28. In their performance the two sang the ballad ‘Valentine’ by Martina McBride as Richardson played the piano for some of the song.
Lisa Brown, 19, and Nick Carter, 19, sang the fast up-tempo beat song ‘Bring it all to me’ by Blague. Through all of the song Brown and Carter were caught doing seductive dance moves that choreographer Fatima Robinson had ordered for them to do to give their performance a little more fun.
And last, Theresa Bischoff, 18, and A.J McLean, 22, sang the romantic ballad ‘This I Promise You’ written by Bischoff and Justin Timberlake, 18 of N’SYNC. In their performance the two sang beautifully, but when their set came to an end all fans were left standing in shock.
“I couldn’t believe my eyes.” Recalls 15 year-old Ashleigh Adams. “He told her he loved her on stage.”
All fans were in shock of the two’s actions and left questionably unanswered.
“I thought he was dating Amanda Latona?” Ashleigh questioned along with her other friends that had joined her to come to see their favorite group in concert.
What happened to A.J’s resent love? Was she replaced? Those questions were asked that night after the ending of the excitement filled night. And from most fans, they had a positive response and then again, some did not.

“I cant believe this…” Theresa trailed off her jaw nearly to the floor.
“Well believe it, and there are still two more newspapers, probably about the same thing.” Donna commented then held up a videotape.
“Uh oh, what’s that?” Stephanie asked a little worried.
“Just watch.” Johnny frowned from his seat at the table. Donna just pushed the tape into the VCR and pushed play.
The video began to play and it was of MTV news 1515. Kurt Loder appeared on screen sitting in front of a large ‘MTV 1515’ sign. He looked up at the camera and read from the cue cards. "And recently in Backstreet news, questions arise, wondering what’s really going on, on the Backstreet Boys ‘Into the Millenium tour.’ The once in a life-time concert held Lexington, Kentucky, left fans of both the pop groups questioning what is really going on between certain BSB members and the lovely young ladies of eNVY. The concert started off romantic and sappy." The video cut to Kevin and Stephanie swaying to the song then singing the last few lines of ‘Valentine.’
Stephanie and Kevin’s eyes met and both simultaneously said, "We aren’t sappy!"
"Sure you two, whatever!" Lisa and Theresa laughed.
Kurt’s face reappeared and he continued, "Then things really started heating up…" The next scene was Nick pulling off Lisa’s skirt and them grinding against one another during a musical bridge. "Now you can definatly tell something is going on with those two. And finally things got altogether confusing." Theresa and A.J popped up on the screen, kissing passionately in front of everyone. Kurt Loder soon appeared back on the screen. "And now something is going on with them. We have some comments from their fans that witnessed the scenes."
The TV cut to two twelve-year-old girls, both wearing BSB T-shirts. "So what do you two think of the performances?" an unknown voice asked. "I thought Kevin’s was cute because they weren’t flirting and making out on stage. Nick’s was pretty good, but that girl he was with needed to put on some real clothes and A.J’s and that Theresa girl’s, I hated it, I don’t think making out on stage in front of thousands of fans that would do anything for the Backstreet Boys was right. They should both realize that whenever you’re famous you shouldn’t do that sort of thing." The taller blond said, angrily, the shorter dirty blond nodding with her.
Then a different girl showed up with a cheeky grin on her face. "What did you think of their special performances?"
"I thought all of them were really good. Kevin and Stephanie’s were really cute, I personally think something’s going on with them. And Nick and Lisa’s that one was just wow, she’s a really good dancer and it’s funny how she teased him all the time." The girl paused and her smile got wider. "And Theresa and A.J’s was so, so, so sweet, and I thought it was really romantic that he would tell her how he felt in front of all his fans and MTV."
The screen went out and Donna stopped the tape. “What do you guys have to say?” She asked everyone but mostly focused on Theresa and A.J.
“Well…” Theresa trailed off. “I’m a little shocked that they made such a huge deal about this.”
“Yeah.” A.J nodded along with the others.
“I mean, they wasn’t so bad on Kevin, Lisa, Nick and me, but Theresa and A.J got the kill.” Stephanie commented.
“And the reason of that is because Theresa and A.J did something they shouldn’t have had done stage!” Johnny spoke up standing from his seat. “Donna and I have scheduled a press conference for when we get to Orlando. Stephanie and Kevin, you two are to keep your relationship under wraps, and you too, Lisa and Nick. As for Theresa and A.J, there’s absolutely no way for you two, so I guess you guys relationship will have to be publicly.” Johnny stated the anger noticeable through his dark face. He then turned to Donna and said, “Don, your gonna have to finish with them, cause I have to fly out to LA to meet with N’SYNC.” Donna just nodded as Johnny left the room slamming the door behind him.
“He’s pissed.” Howie said.
“Yeah.” Brian agreed as Donna went on.
“Now guys I want you to listen to what Johnny said, and as for Theresa and A.J, you two need to be thinking about what your going to tell everyone at the press conference.” And with that Donna grabbed her things and left the room furious.
“You know what, I was actually scared.” Theresa giggled standing from her leather seat.
“Oh I know me to.” A.J agreed as everyone stood from their seats and headed out of the room.
“So lets see, we have a concert tonight then we leave and then were off for the next state.” Nick said looking at his watch.
“Yeah.” Stephanie nodded.
“Hey Nick, could I talk to you for a sec in my room?” Lisa, who had been quiet, thought out the meeting asked.
“Hmm, yeah.” Nick looked over at his girlfriend following her to the elevator.
“Wonder what their gonna do?” Theresa questioned as the group of stars headed for the small bar in the hotel.
“Something you wouldn’t do.” Brian joked.
“Shut up Brian.” Theresa smirked lightly pushing him into Howie, who pushed him back into Theresa.
-In the hotel room-
“So Lisa what did ya wanna talk about?” Nick asked as he closed the room door behind him then dug his hands into his jean pocket.
Lisa looked up from her seat on the bed and whispered, “I think we need to break up.”
