“I’m glad you like it Brian.” I smiled pulling from him and looked into his eyes.
“Whatya get him?” I heard Kevin asked.
“This!” Brian replied holding up a small booklet that read ‘Kentucky Wildcat Season Tickets’.
"Oh wow.” Kevin exclaimed taking the small book from Brian and examining them. “How much did these cost?”
“A whole lot of money.” I laughed shaking my head.
“Theresa, you’ve really over done it.” Stephanie stated resting her hands on her hips.
“Oh Steph, it’ll be ok. You’re just mad because I spent more money than you.” I joked winking at her.
“Shut up Theresa.” Stephanie rolled her eyes lightly slapping me.
“The only reason she got it was to get Brian in bed.” A.J smirked.
“A.J! Come off it already!” I frowned tossing some ripped wrapping paper at him hitting him in the forehead.
“Ow…Theresa, I was just joking.” A.J chuckled lightly rubbing his forehead.
“That’s nothing to joke about dude.” I sighed crossing my arms and shaking my head in disappointment.
“Sorry.” A.J apologized smiling sweetly.
“Anyway.” Nick stated taking my hand and pulling me towards him. “A.J, you’d better watch on joking on her because my girl just might…”
“She wouldn’t and you know it.” A.J chuckled walking away from us.
“Whatever.” I said rolling my eyes as Nick and I headed back towards the dance floor.
“Wait! Theresa lemme talk to you for a second.” Brian called.
“Mmm…ok.” I agreed letting go of Nick’s hand and looking up at him. “I’ll be back baby.” Nick nodded and headed on the dance floor alone. “What ya want?” I asked Brian as I stood next to him.
“Thank you so much. You really shouldn’t have got these for me. REALLY!” Brian smiled at me. I loved it when he smiled, cause I knew he really meant what he said.
“Your welcome Bri, I wanted to get these for you because I know how much you LOVE the wildcats.” I giggled resting my hand on his shoulder.
“But really, how much did this cost ya?” Brian wondered. Shoot, I wasn’t going to tell him, cause then he’ll be wanting to pay me back.
“I ain’t telling. Trust me. You don’t want to know.” With that I winked at Brian and walked off towards my Nicky, whom was dancing alone on the dance floor.
-The next day-
Rolling over onto my side I saw the figure that was lying next to me. His blond hair was in his face, and his small pouty lips were pursed in a cute smile. Cuddling my naked form closer in his strong embrace, I replayed the night before, after the party, Nick and I had made love all night and he really showed me how much he missed me. And I missed him equally as much. Running my index finger along his collarbone, causing him to shudder. Moving my lips to his neck, I felt his large hands come up my back to my blond hair, running his fingers through it.
“Mmm…good morning baby.” Nick smiled as I looked up to kiss his lips sweetly.
“Morning.” I smiled cuddling closer.
“I am so tired, like you wouldn’t believe.” Nick moaned as he rolled onto his back, my head falling onto his chest.
“Well I believe ya baby, you were at it all night.” I giggled lightly kissing his neck.
“See what happens when you’re away from me a lot.” Nick smirked. I just laughed and continued on massaging his neck with my tongue.
“Hey Nick, we tried to call ya with the wake…” Brian started to say as he walked into the room. “Oops, sorry guys.” Turning to look at him I blushed brightly along with Nick and huddled under the covers more.
“What is it Bri?” Nick asked slightly irritated.
“They tried to call for your wake-up call but no one answered so I came up here to see if you guys were ok.” Brian stammered on turning for the door. “Later guys, and sorry again.”
“Its cool Brian.” I nodded smiling at him as he left quietly shutting the door behind himself. “Well I’m gonna go and take a shower.” I said climbing from under the covers and heading for the bathroom.
“Can I join you?” I heard Nick yell I knew his eyes were on my naked form.
“If you want.” I giggled as I heard him stumble his way out of the bed and head towards the bathroom were I was starting to run the water.
-That afternoon-
Sitting in the dressing room by myself reading through my studies, I could hear the beats from the guy’s rehearsal.
“And that makes you larger than life.” I sang quietly to myself.
“Hey Theresa. Studying hard?” A voice said. Looking up from my fine arts textbook I noticed Stephanie come towards me wearing a regular pair of wide leg khakis and a black turtleneck.
“Hey Steph, yeah, getting it all done before I’m to busy running around with Nick and everyone.” I giggled lightly twirling the pencil around my fingers.
“I hear ya girl.” She smiled politely sitting across from me. “That was an awesome gift you got him last night. He’s still bragging about it.”
“Really.” I laughed. “I couldn’t really think of anything to get a twenty-five year old, so I just said…hey what the heck.”
“How much did it really cost though?” Stephanie asked resting her elbows on the table.
“I can’t say.” I sighed pulling some of my blond hair behind my ears.
“Hmm…must be a lot…” Stephanie trailed off waving her hand as if dismissing the subject. “When ya going back?”
“I haven’t decided, I have my work till April so ya know, its only February.” I answered rubbing my ear lightly. “Damn, my ear itches.”
“You know what that means.” Stephanie winked at me, her brown eyes sparkling. “Someone’s talking about you.”
“Yeah, right whatever.” I smirked closing my notebook and textbook then placing them both into my mesh book bag.
“Hey, never know.” Stephanie said. “So what ya doing tonight?”
“Dunno, probably just hang out with Nick or Brian.” I guessed standing from the table and slinging my bag over onto my left shoulder. “Well I’m gonna go finish watching them ok. Wanna come?”
“Nah, I just came back. Be careful Fatima’s a little cranky.” Stephanie giggled.
“Ok, thanks for the warning.” I chuckled leaving the room and heading down the hall towards the arena doors. Slowly opening them, I stepped into the empty arena with a large stage set in the center.
“Damn it A.J!!! Why do you insist on messing up on this step?!?!” I heard Fatima yell as she threw her bottled water across the stage.
“Oops! I did it again…” A.J began dancing around in circles.
“SHUT UP!!! That’s it, y’all can have a break.” Fatima snarled stomping off the stage and hugging past me.
“Hey Fatima.” I waved.
“Fuck off.” She growled slamming through the doors.
“Oooww, snappy.” I sighed dumping my book bag in one of the empty arena seat and climbing onto the stage where I seen A.J sitting on the edge smoking a cigarette, like usual. Kevin and Howie were working on the instruments with Tommy. Then I noticed Nick and Brian talking ‘privately’. Smiling, I slowly walked over towards Nick and Brian and wrapped my arms around Nick.
“Hey baby.” I smiled kissing his cheek.
“Theresa…” Nick trailed off clutching his chest. “Baby, you nearly had a heart attack.”
“Oh…me sorry.” I giggled sucking on his earlobe.
“Um…guys, I’ll see y’all later.” Brian said looking at us as if uncomfortable by what we were doing.
“Oh don’t worry about it Bri.” I smiled squeezing myself in between the two and draping an arm around each of their shoulders.
“Um…nah, really I have to go. Talk with ya later Nick.” Brian said standing up causing my arm to fall from around his shoulders. “Hey Theresa? Are we hang out tonight?”
“I don’t know…” I smiled slightly looking from Nick to Brian. “Sure I guess.” I nodded.
“Cool.” Brian grinned as if I had made his day. Watching Brian walk off the stage I heard Nick’s steady breathing in my ear.
“I love you.” Nick whispered kissing my earlobe.
“Mmm…I love you too.” I giggled lightly turning my head and catching his lips with mine.
“Ok guys, none off that in an open area.” I heard a raspy voice say behind us. Opening one eye, still kissing Nick, I saw A.J standing over us. Pulling away, I stood and looked up at A.J rudely.
“You always like to ruin my good moments don’t you A.J?” I asked a smirk forming on his lips.
“You know it.” A.J chuckled causing me to shake my head. “Its fun picking on you.”
“Why?” I asked resting my hands on my hips.
“Because you’re the youngest.” With that A.J walked away laughing to himself.
“Sometimes, I don’t think that mans right in the head.” I giggled looking down at Nick.
“Baby, get use to it, A.J’s always been like that.” Nick smirked grabbing my hand inviting me to pull him up, and so I did. “So you’re going out with Brian tonight?”
“Yeah.” I nodded as we walked off the stage holding each other’s hands. “Is that ok?”
“Yeah, sure. Just don’t come back to the room late.” Nick stated, but I could tell him his ocean blue eyes that he was trying to hide his disappointment.
“If you want me to stay in with you, I will…I mean it’s not a problem…”
“No, it’s alright. If you want to go out and chill with Bri, I don’t care.” Nick cut in his voice rising a notch.
“Jeez Nick, you don’t have to jump down my throat everytime I want to spend time with my best friend.” I argued knowing where this conversation was going, and honestly I didn’t want to get into it with him right now over me spending time with Brian.
