“So when are you guys coming back?” Lisa asked as she watched Stephanie run around the house making sure she didn’t forget anything.
“Um…I think Tuesday.” Stephanie replied.
“Ok. So Theresa will be home before you two right.” Lisa wondered making sure she’s right.
“Yeah, she’ll be home tomorrow ok. Don’t forget to tell A.J to pick her up at 4:00.” Stephanie demanded as she looked out the window and seen a taxi pull up in the driveway and honked its horn. “Come on Kevin!” Stephanie yelled as she watch Kevin run out of the kitchen with a book bag and gym bag.
“Coming!” Kevin smiled.
“Bout time.” Lisa mocked. “Yeah, I won again!” Lisa screamed throwing her arms into the air.
“So.” Nick pouted crossing his arms and giving Lisa a sad puppy dog look.
“Aww, look how cute he is, when he’s jealous.” Lisa grinned wrapping her arms around his neck. “But it isn’t my fault you suck.” Lisa laughed as she quickly jumped up off the floor and ran as Nick chased behind her.
“Sometimes I don’t understand you two.” Stephanie sighed. “Bye.” She screamed through the house and then left out the door.
“Later.” Kevin said following out behind her. “Bye, and I won’t call first, you call me.” Lisa joked waving out the door as they drove away and watched Stephanie stick her hand out the door and flick her off.
-At Jennifer’s house-
Jennifer had headed out to the store to snatch up some food at the store and left Theresa at home in the shower. As Theresa climbed out of the shower and put on her white bathrobe and threw her hair up in a towel then headed downstairs then past the living room.
“Hey Jennifer, you back already?” Theresa waved as she walked into the kitchen, not paying any attention to the person sitting on the couch.
“Actually, she isn’t here.” A deep voice smirked. Theresa stopped dead in her tracks then turned around noticing a tall handsome man, with dark brown eyes and brown hair sitting on the couch.
“Who are you?” Theresa worried as she started to tremble.
“Don’t worry I’m Jennifer’s cousin Freddie Prinze Jr. She asked me to come down and meet some girl named Theresa.” Freddie began to explain.
“You are the Freddie as in the Freddie in ‘She’s all that’” Theresa stuttered.
“Yep that’s me.” He smiled liking what this young lady looked like. “Well, um, may I ask your name and do you know where that girl Theresa is?” He asked nicely extending his hand out waiting for her response.
“Well I would be that girl Theresa.” Theresa giggled slightly as she shook his hand.
“Well Theresa, I’m sorry that I scared you.” Freddie laughed slightly letting go of her hand.
“Its ok. But tell me why Jennifer never told me that you were her cousin. Cause I asked her cause you two have the same last name and she said no.” Theresa wondered as she pulled a bottle of water out of the fridge.
“I don’t know. But do you know what time she’ll be back?” Freddie asked walking into the kitchen where Theresa was.
“Nope.” Theresa said sitting in one of the kitchen table chairs.
“Hey Freddie, I see you met Theresa.” Jennifer said as she walked into the living room with five plastic bags in each hand.
“Hey cuz.” Freddie waved. “Yeah, we met.”
“So what did you get me?” Theresa questioned grabbing one of the bags and searching through it. “Ah ha, you got me some suckers.” She laughed.
“Yeah. Well Freddie how have you been?” Jennifer asked putting the milk into the refrigerator.
“I’m great, I got invited to the MTV video music awards.” Freddie replied leaning up against the bar.
“Really that’s cool. Do you have a date?” Jennifer said taking a pack of ham out of one of the bags.
“No.” He answered.
“Freddie, you can have something to drink if you want.” Theresa said trying to get into the two’s conversation.
“No thanks.” He replied.
“Guess what? I’m gonna go upstairs to change.” Theresa smiled walking out of the kitchen and up the stairs to her room.
