ABILITIES OF THE GUYVER

  • BIO BOOST(CALL FORTH, CHANGE, TRANSFORM):This is the term used for when the Guyver armor is called forth when the host calls out 'GUYVER', 'BIO BOOST', or just silently wills it. When the armor is called, a 'shield' forms around the host and will disintegrate anything withing the field, this can also be used as a weapon.

  • CONTROL MEDAL(CONTROL MEDALLION):Located on the Guyver's forehead, the control medal is the control system for the Guyver armor. It has many tendrils that hook to the hosts brain, allowing the host to control most of the armors abilities, it also prevents the power overload in which the host is devoured alive. The control medal also serves as protector of the host, if the host should ever become incapacitated or unconcious, the control medal goes into a self defense mode to protect itself and the host. It cannot distinguish between friend or foe, it will consider anyone near it as its enemies. If ever torn from the armor, from a small piece of bio booster tissue, it can restore and regenerate itself in a short time, when this happens the host will be in a 'sleeping' stage, and the control medal will be in control until the host 'awakens'. Though it is connected to the hosts brain, it can be swayed by the mental state of the host, this was proven with Sho Fukamachi after he realized that he had killed his father who was turned into Enzyme II, it caused a psychological effect to where Sho hated the armor for the death of his father and could not bio boost, not until he came to realize that he needed the power to save his friends in a battle against Aptom. He resolved the conflict within and regained the ability to bio boost.

  • GRAVITY ORB(GRAVITY WEAPON):Located at the Guyvers waist, when he focus's his thoughts, he can control gravitational forces in order to levitate or use the pressure cannon.

  • HEAD BEAM(INFARED LASER):The Guyvers infared laser, a small orb located just above the control medal, is more compact and efficient than any bio laser known to Chronos.

  • HEAD SENSORS(RADAR):The metallic spheres on the top of the Guyver's head act as a complex three-dimensional sensor. When active, the sensor can move back and forth along the grooves on the Guyver's head and can even detect objects and beings on the other side of walls.

  • HIGH FREQUENCY SWORDS(WAVE VIBRATION SWORDS):The protrusions on the Guyvers forearms can bend and lengthen at will. The blades vibrate at a high frequency making them able to slice through anything, except for other high frequency blades, when they come into contact with another they cause a disturbing sound. This happened when the Guyvers blades came in contact with Thancrus's, and Tetsuro and Myzuki could not take the sound.

  • MEGA SMASHER:The Guyvers most powerful weapon. To use it the Guyver must first open the chest plates and expose the lenses. Unlike glass lenses, the mega smasher is made of a clear, gelatinous material which bulges out during the firing process. Power output seems to vary from time to time, but the force of the mega smasher can easily destroy a building. A Guyver dosent neccisarly need to use his hands to open the chest plates, it has been known that using the power of the control medal, the chest plates can be willed open. The Guyver can either open both plates, or just one side to fire the mega smasher.

  • PRESSURE CANNON:Produced by the Gravity Orb, the Pressure Cannon converts a small scale wormhole into a shock wave to strike enemies.

  • SONIC BUSTER(SOUNDWAVE EMITTER):Located in the mouth area, the Sonic Buster emittes a vibratory wave that tunes to the resonance of its targets, fragmenting them at the molecular level.

  • UNIT 'G'(THE GUYVER UNIT):The bio booster armor in its 'dormant' state. Three of these units were discovered on Earth in the Relic at the bottom of Mt. Minakami by Chronos, but were stolen by Malmot. Sho Fukamachi, Oswald Lisker, and Agito Makishima were the ones who activated the Units. Liskers unit was destroyed due to a malfunction in the control medal since it was damaged before mergeance.
