Everyone is at the police station. Dewey is trying to find Sid's dad.
Tatum: Sid, we're gonna get you out of here, ok. Are you ok?
Dewey: (to Sheriff) They sell this costume at every five and dime in the state. There's no way to track the purchase.
Sheriff: What about that cellular phone bill?
Dewey: We're pullin' Loomis' account. We won't know anyhting 'til morning.
Tatum: Oh come on!
Dewey: You think he did it?
Sheriff: 20 years ago I would've said not a chance. But these kids today, damned if I know.
Tatum: Hey Dewey, can we go now?
Dewey: Hold on a second.
Tatum: God dammit Dewey!
Dewey: What did Mom tell you? When I wear this badge you treat me like a man of the law.
Tayum:I'm sorry Deputy Dewey-boy, but we're ready to go now! OK?
Sheriff: Take 'em out the back, avoid that circus.
Dewey: Come on.
Tatum: Don't touch me.
Dewey: He's my superior!
Tatum: The janitor is your superior.
Sheriff: Let's get back to work.
(outside) Gale: Isn't there a back way into this building?
Kenny: Yeah. Down that alley I think.
Dewey: You guys stay here. I'm going to get the car. Don't move. Don't make a sound.
Gale: There she is..Sidney! Hi. This is some night. What happened? Are you alright?
Tatum: She's not answering any questions, alright? Just leave her alone.
Sidney: No, no Tatum, it's OK. She's just doing her job, right Gale?
Gale: Yes, that's right.
Sidney: So, how's the book?
Gale: Well, it'll be out later this year.
Sidney: Oh, I'll look for it.
(Sidney lands a vicious right hook on Gale's left cheek. Gale falls. Dewey shuffles the girls to his Jeep)
Kenny: Nice shot.
Tatum: Bitch.
Kenny: No, I meant the camera.
Dewey: Jeez, where'd you learn to punch like that?
