Ashland’s offensive line opened the holes and their speedy backs did the rest to defeat Greenup County 35-21 despite turning the ball over four times. Ashland Blazer recorded 16 first downs and 493 yards of total offense. The The Tomcats were penalized one time for 10 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted. Greenup County recorded 13 first downs and 322 yards of total offense. The Musketeers were penalized six times for 50 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Brody Simpkins led Ashland’s ground game with 200 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Cam Davis carried the ball eight times for 193 yards and three touchdowns. Trevonte Taylor recorded 74 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Justin Hughes was zero of two in the passing department with one interception. Tanner Stutler completed one of three passes for 12 yards with one interception. Cameron Davis caught one pass for 12 yards. Mason Wolfe led the defense with 10 solo tackles. Keshawn Newman added seven solo and two assisted tackles. JJ Keyes recorded seven solo and one assisted tackles. Brody Simpkins chipped in with five solo tackles. Cam Davis recorded five solo tackles and intercepted a pass he returned for 13 yards. Nathaniel Williams added four solo and one assisted tackles.

Arthur Wireman led Greenup County’s ground game with 52 yards on 15 carries. Jasper Davis carried the ball 20 times for 41 yards and a touchdown. Jasper Davis completed 13 of 24 passes for 170 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Kasey Gammon caught four passes for 110 yards. Landry Lewis added four receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown. Nolan Clarkson completed his only pass for 59 yards. Arthur Wireman recorded three receptions for 30 yards. Tyler Johnson caught three passes for 26 yards. Tyler Johnson led the defense with three solo and three assisted tackles. Jaxon Law added one solo and five assisted tackles. Jasper Davis recorded two solo and three assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 67 yards for a touchdown. Eric Campbell chipped in with one solo and four assisted tackles. Nolan Clarkson recorded two solo and two assisted tackles.

Scott County defeated Collins by the score of 38-14. Scott County recorded 24 first downs and 468 yards of total offense. The Cardinals were penalized five times for 47 yards and lost a fumble. Collins recorded 10 first downs and 236 yards of total offense. The Titans were penalized eight times for 56 yards and had two passes intercepted. (Collins QB Kade Goodin was out tonight with an injury).

Skyler Way led Scott County’s ground game with 164 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. Timmy Emongo carried the ball nine times for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Jayden Garrett recorded 36 yards on three carries. Ian Keeth chipped in with 26 yards on five carries. JT Wells carried the ball twice for 10 yards and a touchdown. Charlie Ellison completed four of five passes for 87 yards and a touchdown. Timmy Emongo caught two passes for 43 yards and a touchdown. Red Owens added one reception for 24 yards. Keller Furnish caught one pass for 20 yards. Riley Colvin led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles. Ashley Brewer added four solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Red Owens recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards. Keller Furnish and Timmy Emongo each intercepted a pass.

Caleb Askew led Shelby County’s ground game with 38 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Jayden Martin carried the ball six times for 16 yards. Javon Hunter completed 13 of 22 passes for 171 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions. Jason Hence caught nine passes for 114 yards. Aviyan Delaney added three receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown. Aviyan Delaney returned three kickoffs for 43 yards with a long return of 19 yards. Jason Hence returned two kickoffs for 14 yards with a long return of 13 yards. Dajari Hardy led the defense with seven solo and four assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Isaac Estrada added five solo and eight assisted tackles. Tre England recorded four solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling five yards. Ryle defeated Tates Creek by the score of 37-0. This was a game of two teams trending in opposite directions. Ryle has been plagued with injuries but are finally starting to get players back while Tates Creek resembles a M.A.S.H. unit with two of their top running backs out and without the services of one of their top receivers. Ryle recorded 21 first downs and 379 yards of total offense. The Raiders were penalized seven times for 71 yards. Tates Creek recorded two first downs and 29 yards of total offense (-10 yards on the ground). The Commodores were penalized 13 times for 89 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Jacob Savage led Ryle’s ground game with 93 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Dameyn Anness carried the ball 12 times for 85 yards and a touchdown. Xavier Collins recorded 45 yards on three carries. Nathan Verax carried the ball four times for 26 yards. Gavin Lyons chipped in with 12 yards on two carries. Nathan Verax completed 10 of 19 passes for 85 yards and one touchdown. Charlie Park completed two of four passes for 19 yards and a touchdown. Brody Smith completed two of two passes for nine yards. Jacob Savage caught four passes for 33 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Lee added three receptions for 11 yards and a touchdown. Cruze Sauley recorded two receptions for 34 yards. Shouncey Wynn caught one pass for 14 yards. Evan Kincaid returned one punt for 19 yards. Dameyn Anness returned one kickoff for 18 yards. Andrew Smith also recorded two solo and two assisted tackles. Dylan Lee recorded three solo tackles and scored on a 40 yard fumble recovery return. Jacob Savage recorded one solo tackles for a fifteen yard loss. Evan Kincaid intercepted a pass.

Kaleb Murphy led Tates Creek’s ground game with five yards on eight carries. Darnell Burnside completed nine of 19 passes for 39 yards with one interception. Triston Taylor caught seven passes for 24 yards. JT Cooper added two receptions for 15 yards. Triston Taylor returned four kickoffs for 80 yards with a long return of 29 yards. Dvaughn Flowers led the defense with four solo and seven assisted tackles. Adrian Smith added two solo and six assisted tackles. Rekus Greer, Jabari Young, and Shawn Taylor each recorded three solo and three assisted tackles with one of Shawn Taylor’s tackles resulting in a three yard loss.

Avery Johnson led the Bryan Station ground game with 40 yards on 13 carries. Kerwin Montgomery carried the ball five times for 11 yards. Kamani Barbour recorded 10 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Raymond Young also ran for a touchdown. Coleson Carpenter completed 12 of 17 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Brayden Payne caught four passes for 38 yards. Kamani Barbour added three receptions for 73 yards. The Jaguars were penalized seven times for 43 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Tyree Richardson led Lafayette’s ground game with 63 yards on nine carries. Harrison Stephens carried the ball five times for 37 yards. Jehovanis Kondo score a touchdown on the ground. Jehovanis Kondo completed 13 of 25 passes for 218 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. Colton Coleman caught four passes for 96 yards and a touchdown. Harrison Stephens added two receptions for 54 yards and two touchdowns. Jackson Grantz recorded two catches for 45 yards and a touchdown. Colton Coleman returned one punt for 11 yards. Jackson Grantz was five of five on conversion kicks, added a 48 yard field goal, punted twice for a 39.0 average, and kicked off six times for a 55.0 average and one touch back. Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Madison Southern by the score of 38-22. Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded 13 first downs and 232 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized 11 times for 167 yards and had a pass intercepted. Madison Southern recorded 13 first downs and 82 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized eight times for 93 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Jayshawn Crosby led Paul Laurence Dunbar’s ground game with 95 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries. Dominic Faulkner also scored a touchdown on the ground. Dominic Faulkner completed seven of nine passes for 119 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Jett Bailey completed one of two passes for14 yards and one touchdown. Conner Norsworthy caught four passes for 78 yards and one touchdown. Noah Barrett added two receptions for 35 yards. Ryan Barrett caught a 12 yard touchdown pass. Locke Loftus led the defense with four solo and six assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Gratson Rodgers added four solo and four assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling three yards. Kaleb Monroe recorded one solo and nine assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss and intercepted a pass he returned seven yards.

Semaje DeShields led Madison Southern’s ground attack with 71 yards on 17 carries. Brayden Hall carried the ball five times for 34 yards an da touchdown. Caleb Bonham recorded 11 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Caleb Bonham completed three of six passes for 26 yards with one interception. Brayden Hall completed two of three passes for nine yards. Cayden Chasteen returned two kickoffs for 71 yards including a 65 yard return for a touchdown. Gabe Thompson returned two kickoffs for 16 yards with a long return of 11 yards. Elliot Smith led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles. Cayden Chasteen added four solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards. Kaiden Kirk also recorded four solo and three assisted tackles. Brayden Hall chipped in with three solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. Henry Clay defeated North Bullitt 46-8 to give Coach Phillip Hawkins his first victory as head coach at Henry Clay. Henry Clay recorded 18 first downs and 383 yards of total offense. The Blue Devils were penalized seven times for 76 yards. North Bullitt recorded nine first downs and 157 yards of total offense. They were penalized five times for 40 yards and lost two fumbles.

Zach Hoellein led Henry Clay’s ground game with 163 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries. Safal Gurung carried the ball 15 times for 99 yards. Aiden Huston completed five of 16 passes for 110 yards and three touchdowns. Chaii Paris caught two passes for 61 yards and two touchdowns. Marcus Owens added two receptions for 18 yards. Henry Morgan added a 31 yard touchdown reception. Chaii Paris returned one kickoff for 19 yards. Vinny Kirk led the defense with five solo and three assisted tackles with one fumble recovery. Frank Niyonyishu added four solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards. Justus Roman recorded three solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards. James Reynolds chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss. Charlie Pennell added three solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. AJ Lagunas recorded two solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 13 yards. Marcus Owens added three solo tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a four yard loss. Pacifique Nduwaye recorded two solo tackles which resulted in 10 lost yards. Patrick Beya added one solo and one assisted tackles with one tackles resulting in a six yard loss and a safety. Liam Marrs recovered a fumble.

Felix Ortiz led North Bullitt’s ground game with 54 yards on 14 carries. Micah Hoke added 38 yards on nine carries. Micah Hoke completed six of eight passes for 93 yards and a touchdown. Sam Felix caught five passes for 85 yards and a touchdown. Jayden Miller and Kevin Doe each had one reception for eight and seven yards respectively. Micah Hoke returned two kickoffs for 57 yards with a long return of 41 yards. Kevin Doe returned three kickoffs for 48 yards with a long return of 23 yards. Landon Humphrey returned two kickoffs for 19 yards with a long return of 11 carries. Leland Rhome led the defense with four solo and two assisted tackles. Landen Cundiff added four solo tackles. Eli Crawford and Sam Felix each recorded three solo and one assisted tackles. Landon Humphrey recorded two solo and two assisted tackles.

Asteady dose of Tayden Lorenzen and a big “Pick-Six” by Gabe Williams proved to be the wining combination as Highland defeated Ryle by the score of 28-24. Lorenzen ran for three touchdowns and Gabe Williams scored on what proved to be the winning score on a 42 yard interception return with 7:22 left in the game. Ryle led 24-14 after three quarters but Highlands scored 14 unanswered points in the final quarter to earn the victory. Highlands recorded 13 first downs and 226 yards of total offense. The Bluebirds were penalized once for 15 yards. Ryle recorded eight first downs and 318 yards of total offense. The Raiders were penalized nine times for 85 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Tayden Lorenzen led Highland’s ground game with 94 yards and three touchdowns on 25 carries. Gabe Williams carried the ball 11 times for 27 yards. Isaac Niemann added 21 yards on three carries. Rio Litmer completed five of nine passes for 45 yards. Tayden Lorenzen completed two of two passes for 17 yards. Cale Harris completed his only pass for 14 yards. Gabe Williams caught two passes for 24 yards. Tayden Lorenzen added three receptions for 18 yards. Ian Garrahan recorded two receptions for 17 yards. Connor Carnohan caught one pass for 14 yards. The Bluebirds defensive line was able to get pressure on Ryle QB Nathan Verax and recorded two sacks and recorded one interception that Gabe Williams returned 42 yards for a touchdown. Rylan Dunn also recovered a fumble.

Jacob Savage led Ryle’s ground game with 101 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. Dameyn Anness carried the ball 11 times for 62 yards. Nathan Verax completed eight of 13 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Charlie Park completed his only pass for 14 yards. Shouncey Wynn caught three passes for 53 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Lee caught three passes for 42 yards. Dameyn Anness recorded two receptions for 41 yards. Jacob Savage caught one pass for 10 yards. Jacob Savage led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in lost yardage. Jesse Nunn added five solo tackles with one tackles resulting in a loss. Max Karwath recorded four solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss. Grant Foley added four solo and one assisted tackles. Shouncey Wynn chipped in with three solo and one assisted tackles.

Owensboro Catholic defeated Bardstown tonight by the score of 56-30 despite several players being hampered with injuries. Starting QB Dremail Carothers did not play in the second half but was capably replaced by Peyton Morris. Miles Edge and Andrew Garvin among others also were slowed with injuries but seceral players stepped up to get a big bounce back victory after their first defeat last week. Owensboro Catholic recorded 549 yards of total offense and had one pass intercepted. Bardstown recorded 439 yards and lost s fumble and had one pass intercepted.

Shaiden Mitchell led Owensboro Catholic’s ground game with 101 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Miles Edge carried the ball 13 times for 100 yards and two touchdowns. Cameron Woodward added 17 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Dremail Carothers completed 11 of 22 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. Peyton Morris completed five of nine passes for 114 yards and one touchdown. Xavier Maddox caught four passes for 115 yards and one touchdown. Cameron Woodward added three receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown. Miles Edge recorded three catches for 61 yards and a touchdown. Luke Thomas also recorded three catches for 61 yards and a touchdown. Jude Evans led the defense with two solo and 11 assisted tackles. Miles Edge added five solo and six assisted tackles. Nick Sims recorded three solo and six assisted tackles. Jude Cecil chipped in with four solo and two assisted tackles. Caden Conkwright and Noah Grant each recorded five assisted tackles.

Sevyn Hamilton led Bardstown’s ground game with 86 yards on 19 carries. Carson Riley added 21 yards on five carries. Tylan Spalding carried the ball three times for 13 yards and two touchdowns. Carson Riley completed 19 of 32 passes for 201 yards with one interception. Tylan Spalding completed two of two passes for 99 yards and one touchdown. Chi Poynter caught eight passes for 98 yards and a touchdown. Tylan Spalding added six receptions for 92 yards. Lucas Kiser recorded two receptions for 50 yards. Jayvyn Montgomery chipped in with two catches for 30 yards. Lucas Kiser led the defense with eight solo and three assisted tackles. Keison Graves added three solo and three assisted tackles. Beechwood took a 14-7 lead mid way through the second quarter but Covington Catholic’s ground game took over and the Colonels rolled to a 42-14 victory. Covington Catholic recorded 22 first downs and 523 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized three times for 32 yards, lost two fumbles, and had one pass intercepted. Beechwood recorded 16 first downs and 339 yards of total offense. The Tigers were penalized four times for 45 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Dylan Gaiser led Covington Catholic’s ground game with 178 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries. Cash Harney carried the ball 13 times for 164 yards and two touchdowns. Mac Cogswell carried the ball once for 66 yards and a touchdown. Logan Sanning recorded 61 yards on four carries. Cash Harney completed five of six passes for 54 yards with one interception. Owen Pitzer caught two passes for 19 yards. Dylan Gaiser added one reception for 14 yards. Zach Brooks added one catch for 12 yards. Dylan Gaiser returned one kickoff for 14 yards. Cash Myers led the defense with eight solo and two assisted tackles. Brandon Smith added four solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 15 yards. Logan Sanning recorded five solo tackles. Charlie Reeves intercepted a pass he returned 25 yards.

Nathan Pabst led Beechwood’s ground game with 75 yards on seven carries. Tyler Fryman carried the ball six times for 44 yards. Emmett Queen recorded four yards and a touchdown on seven carries, Emmett Queen completed 17 of 29 passes for 211 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions.
