Boyle County defeated Lexington Christian Academy 28-21 in a thriller that went down to the wire. LCA trailed 21-0 at the half but mounted a furios rall to tie the score at 21-21 in the final quarter. Boyle County responded with a one yard touchdown run by Darryl Yancey and a conversion kick by Grant Klosterman to take a 28-21 lead with 1:48 left in the game. LCA drove the ball to the Boyle County 4 yard line coming up short on fourth down with less than 20 seconds left on the clock ensuring a Boyle County victory. Boyle County recorded 24 first downs and 4-8 yards of total offense. The Rebels were penalized six times for 62 yards, lost a fumble, and had a pass intercepted. LCA recorded 17 first downs and 286 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized four times for 50 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Jidyn Smith-Hisel led Boyle County’s ground game with 119 yards on 19 carries. Bubby McPherson carried the ball six times for 76 yards. Darryl Yancey recorded 38 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. Kain Logan carried the ball twice for 33 yards. Baylor Murphy recorded 30 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Baylor Murphy completed 12 of 17 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown with one interception. Seneca Driver caught four passes for 24 yards. Kain Logan added two receptions for 52 yards. Jidyn Smith-Hisel recorded two receptions for 18 yards. Lucas Akers caught a 15 yard touchdown pass. Nathaniel Schepman returned two kickoffs for 41 yards with a long return of 22 yards. Jakeem Ray returned one kickoff for 23 yards. Bubby McPherson returned one kickoff for 19 yards. Lucas Young led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles. Darryl Yancey added five solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Bray Borders-Coffman recorded four solo and two assisted tackles. Seneca Driver added three solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 41 yards. Bubby McPherson recorded one solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a 55 yard loss.

Nash Whalen led Lexington Christian Academy’s ground game with 116 yards on 21 carries. Daven Hood carried the ball eight times for 51 yards and three touchdowns (This is a bit misleading because he had one carry for a -57 yards but a touchdown run of 90 yards, therefore his total yardage netted out to 51 yards).Nash Whalen completed 10 of 21 passes for 110 yards with one interception. Tyler King caught three passes for 54 yards. Sam Pearson added three receptions for 29 yards. Dean Hester punted four times for a 38.8 average and a long punt of 52 yards with three punts inside the 20 yard line. Tyler King and Sam Pearson each returned one kickoff for 25 and 24 yards respectively. Aiden Lyons led the defense with six solo and five assisted tackles. Thomas Sizemore added five solo and six assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss. Bennett Gudalis recorded four solo and two assisted tackles. Bode Darland added three solo and three assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 11 yards. Daven Hood also recorded three solo and three assisted tackles. Jeremiah Burbage recovered a fumble and Tyler King intercepted a pass.

Pulaski County led 21-19 at halftime and pulled away in the second half to defeat Bryan Station 49-27. Pulaski County recorded 18 first downs and 443 yards of total offense. The Maroons were penalized four times for 22 yards. Bryan Station recorded 13 first downs and 316 yards of total offense. The Defenders were penalized five times for 34 yards and lost a fumble.

Kasen Brock led Pulaski County’s ground game with 141 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Kaden Carrier carried the ball 10 times for 42 yards and a touchdown. Winston Ford recorded 15 yards and a touchdown on four carries. Zak Anderson also ran for a touchdown. Zak Anderson completed 15 of 17 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns. Winston Ford caught seven passes for 95 yards and a touchdown. Cohen Finley added four receptions for 73 yards. Boone Godby recorded four receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown. Will Adams caught one pass for 32 yards. Will Adams returned one kickoff for 61 yards. Winston Ford returned two kickoffs for 49 yards with a long return of 27 yards. Cohen Finley led the defense with nine solo and two assisted tackles with 3.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards. Winston Ford added seven solo and three assisted tackles. Will Adams recorded three solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Brady Hull added two solo and two assisted tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 18 yards.

Kamani Barbour led Bryan Station’s ground game with 97 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Avery Johnson carried the ball five times for 29 yards. Kerwin Montgomery recorded 28 yards on nine carries. Coleson Carpenter chipped in with 15 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Raymond Young scored on a one yard run. Coleson Carpenter completed 12 of 21 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown. Kamani Barbour caught three passes for 98 yards and a touchdown. Brayden Payne caught three passes for 18 yards. Jordan Haskins added 13 yards on two carries. Samarion Williams returned two kickoffs for 67 yards with a long return of 39 yards. Kamani Barbour returned two kickoffs for 53 yards with a long return of 35 yards. Alaji Bojang returned two kickoffs for 18 yards with a long return of 12 yards. Jordan Haskins returned three punts for 26 yards with a long return of 32 yards. John Hannan punted three times for a 44.3 average with a long punt of 69 yards with one touch back. Alaji Bojang led the defense with five solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a two yard loss. Raymond Young added five solo and one assisted tackles. Sedrick Armstrong recorded five solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackes resulting in a nine yard loss. Jordan Haskins added four solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a six yard loss. LaAvion Johnson chipped in with three solo and two assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a one yard loss.

Madison Southern defeated Henry Clay by the score of 18-6 in a game marred by turnovers and penalties. Henry Clay lost three fumbles and had two passes intercepted while Madison Southern was penalized 10 times for 88 yards. Madison Southern recorded 14 first downs and 184 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized 10 times for 88 yards and lost a fumble. Henry Clay recorded nine first downs and 169 yards of total offense.

Semaje DeShields led Madison Southern’s ground game with 102 yards on 21 carries. Gabe Beard carried the ball 11 times for 36 yards and two touchdowns. Brayden Hall carried the ball once for 11 yards. Gabe Beard completed two of five passes for 57 yards and one touchdown. David McCoy caught a 49 yard touchdown pass. Cayden Chasteen returned one kickoff for 19 yards. Taven Rader led the defense with four solo and six assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. David McCoy added four solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 12 yards. Trinity dominated play tonight in a 37-0 shut out victory over Frederick Douglass. Trinity got off to a fast start as Ashton Taylor opened the game with a 92 yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Ashton Taylor and the Shamrocks were never threatened as they led 23-0 at halftime. Trinity recorded 17 first downs and 311 yards of total offense. The Shamrocks were penalized 10 times for 75 yards. Frederick Douglass recorded five first downs and 68 yards of total offense. The Broncos were penalized eight times for 69 yards and had one pass intercepted.

Ashton Taylor led Trinity’s ground game with 84 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. Jamaurion Berry carried the ball 17 times for 80 yards and a touchdown. Zane Johnson completed eight of 17 passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns. Cross Watson caught three passes for 49 yards. Liam Sellinger added three receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown. Jayce Duvall caught a 26 yard touchdown pass. Ashton Taylor returned one kickoff for 92 yards and a touchdown. Luke Vize led the defense with five solo and one assisted tackles. Cincinnati Elder defeated Covington Catholic by the score of 28-20. Elder’s Mason Chumbley intercepted a pass in the final minutes of the game to ensure the victory for the Panthers. Elder recorded 22 first downs and 409 yards of total offense. The Panthers were penalized four times for 35 yards. Covington Catholic recorded 12 first downs and 308 yards of total offense. The Colonels were penalized twice for 20 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Tommy Becker led Elder’s ground game with 96 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. Kaden Estep carried the ball 10 times for 92 yards and two touchdowns. Kaden Estep completed 16 of 19 passes for 220 yards. Jackson Ruth caught eight passes for 92 yards. Chase Walpole added seven receptions for 115 yards. Drew Wauligman caught one pass for 13 yards. Lexington Catholic defeated Paul Laurence Dunbar by the score of 29-14. Lexington Catholic recorded 15 first downs and 326 yards of total offense. The Knights were penalized 12 times for 124 yards and lost two fumbles. Paul Laurence Dunbar recorded nine first downs and 133 yards of total offense. The Bulldogs were penalized nine times for 67 yards, lost s fumble, and had a pass intercepted.

Brady Wasik led the Lexington Catholic ground game with 147 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries, Esaiah Mashni carried the ball seven times for 45 yards and two touchdowns. Brady Wasik completed 13 of 15 passes for 116 yards. Ashton Pflunger caught three passes for 31 yards. Duncan Gaunce added two receptions for 24 yards. Eli Gann also caught two passes for 24 yards. Eli Gann returned one punt for 19 yards. Jaelin White kicked two extra points, kicked a 19 yard field goal, punted three times for a 46 yard average with a long punt of 59 yards, and kicked off six times for a 56.2 average with three touch backs. Jack Wedding led the defense with three solo and seven assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling six yards. Mark Hosinski added two solo and eight assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards. Brady Wasik recorded three solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards. Esaiah Mashni chipped in with three solo and three assisted tackles. Jack White recorded one solo and five assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards. Lafayette defeated Henry County by the score of 46-8. Lafayette recorded 12 first downs and 337 yards of total offense. The Generals were penalized 17 times for 105 yards and had a pass intercepted. Henry County recorded 12 first downs and 162 yards of total offense. They were penalized four times for 31 yards. Lost a fumble, and had four passes intercepted.

Tristin Simpson led Lafayette’s ground game with 21 yards on two carries. JJ Richardson carried the ball four times for 18 yards. Tyree Richardson recorded carried the ball three times for nine yards and a touchdown. Jehovanis Kondo completed 18 of 33 passes for 303 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. Cale Locklar caught nine passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns. Colton Coleman added four receptions for 100 yards. JJ Richardson added three receptions for 14 yards and a touchdown. Jackson Grantz caught a 25 yard touchdown pass. JJ Richardson returned two kickoffs for 47 yards with a long return of 27 yards. Brayson Becknell led the defense with three solo and two assisted tackles and recovered a fumble. Kendon Wilson added three solo and one assisted tackles. Ashland scored 22 unanswered points in the second quarter to take control on their way to a 44-23 victory over Tates Creek. Ashland recorded 21 first downs and 421 yards of total offense. The Tomcats were penalized four times for 73 yards and lost a fumble. Tates Creek recorded seven first downs and 102 yards of total offense. The Commodores were penalized twice for 20 yards and lost a fumble.

Cameron Davis led Ashland’s ground game with 127 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries. Trevonte Taylor added 82 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Brody Simpkins recorded 78 yards on 13 carries. Justin Hughes carried the ball six times for 32 yards and a touchdown. Luke McCoy added 24 yards on five carries. Daylen Farrow chipped in with 19 yards on two carries. Justin Hughes completed seven of 10 passes for 59 yards and one touchdown. Cameron Davis caught five passes for 42 yards. Dylan Duckwyler added two receptions for 17 yards and a touchdown. Cameron Davis returned three kickoffs for 99 yards with a long return of 83 yards. Jacob Waller kicked a 36 yard field goal in the closing second to give Raceland a 17-14 victory over Ashland Blazer. Raceland jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead but Ashland battled back to knot the score at 14-14 late in the third quarter. Raceland recorded 13 first downs and 250 yards of total offense. The Rams were penalized three times for 30 yards, lost two fumbles, and had a pass intercepted. Ashland Blazer recorded 15 first downs and 286 yards of total offense. The Tomcats were penalized six times for 50 yards and lost a fumble.

Landen Stiltner led Raceland;s ground game with 126 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Shannon Marushi carried the ball 15 times for 72 yards.
